Woman claims she is BJP MP Ravi Kishan's wife, demands acceptance of her daughter

Days ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan is making headlines. A woman named Aparna Thakur held a press conference on April 15 in Lucknow. The woman alleged that she is Ravi Kishan's wife and demanded that he accepts their alleged daughter socially.

Aparna Thakur's daughter Shenova was also present during the press conference. Thakur alleged that she got married to Ravi Kishan in 1996 in front of family and friends.

Thakur also said that Ravi Krishan remains in contact with her and stated that he remains in contact with her but publicly and socially he doesn't now acknowledge her or their daughter.

The woman asserted that she wants her daughter to have the right to be Kishan's daughter, which she is rightfully entitled to. Thakur also showed some pictures of Kishan holding a baby girl along with Thakur, to back the claims.

Shenova also spoke during the press conference and said, "I came to know that Ravi Kishan is my father when I was 15...earlier I used to call him uncle. He used to come to our house on my birthdays. I have met his family as well. As a father, he was never really there for me. I want him to accept me as his daughter and that is why we have decided to file a court case."

Ravi Kishan is the Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur. Kishan is married to Preeti Kihan and they have one daughter named Riva Kishan.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Ravi Kishan is contesting from Gorakhpur against Kajal Nishad (SP).
