Who is Prajwal Revanna? Hassan candidate & grandson of ex-PM Deve Gowda accused of being in sex tapes

A case of sexual harassment and stalking was registered on 28th April 2023 against the grandson of former prime minister H D Deve Gowda and Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna who is embroiled in an alleged sex scandal.

The Hassan seat went to polls on April 26 and Prajwal is seeking a second term from this seat.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on April 28 said that his government has decided to form a special investigation team in connection with JDS leader Prajwal Revanna's sex video case.

He said that in the obscene videos circulating, women appear to have been sexually assaulted.

Amidst the ongoing case, reports have emerged that Prajwal Revanna has fled to Germany.

A first information report (FIR) was filed by a woman who worked at Revanna's house. The woman alleged that she was sexually harassed by Prajwal Revanna and his father H D Revanna.
