Tejashwi Yadav shows waist belt during rally, claims 'unbearable back pain' | Watch

During a rally, Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav lifted his shirt to show a waist belt he was wearing for back pain. He said he was suffering from unbearable back pain, and that he was on painkiller injections and medicines for the past 10 days.

Tejashwi Yadav shared a video on X on May 9. The caption of the video read, "Due to unbearable back pain, I am roaming around among you with painkiller injections and medicines. I have also tied a belt around my waist now. The doctors have advised me to take bed rest for three weeks and not to stand or walk."

"Even in this situation, I am amongst you, for you. Elections happen once in five years, if I don't fight for you now, then you will have to bear poverty, inflation and unemployment for another five years. I will not sit quiet until I provide jobs to the youth," the post further added.

Tejashwi Yadav is the leader of the opposition in Bihar Assembly. There are 42 seats from Bihar in the Lok Sabha, and 26 of the constituencies are yet to vote.
