PM Modi enjoys meme on himself amid row over similar meme on Mamata Banerjee

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to a spoof video where PM Modi's AI avatar was seen walking and dancing to a Bengali song. PM Modi said, 'Like all of you, I also enjoyed seeing myself dance. Such creativity in peak poll season is truly a delight!' This video came shortly after a similar meme featuring Mamata Banerjee led to the issuing of notices to the X users who shared the clips.

The spoof video of PM Modi was shared by X user Atheist Krishna. The user wrote in the caption, "Posting this video cuz I know that 'THE DICTATOR' is not going to get me arrested for this."

In the original video, American rapper Lil Yachty was seen making a stage entrance. The video was shared on YouTube on June 21, 2022, and has become a popular meme template with people using Sora AI to replace Lil Yachty.
