Naveen Jindal, the politician-industrialist, who is one of the richest men in India was seen loading wheat bags in Kurukshetra. The video of the same is doing rounds on the internet.

The viral video shows Jindal loading bags full of wheat into a truck in the Radaur grain market of Yamunanagar district on April 17.

The labourers told Jindal their problem and the industrialist assured them of redressing their grievances at the earliest once he became an MP.

Naveen Jindal is the Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power Limited. He was a former MP from Kurukshetra. In 2004, he won the elections from Congress party. In 2009, he was re-elected in the 2009 general elections. However, he lost the 2014 Lok Sabha election from Kurukshetra.

In 2024, he resigned from Congress party and joined BJP. Now, he is contesting from Kurukshetra as a BJP candidate.
