'Minnat Raj Minnat': farmers give tough time to BJP's Hans Raj Hans

BJP Lok Sabha candidate and Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans is contesting from Punjab's Faridkot. As he began his poll campaigning in the constituency, farmers started protesting against him.

After facing the ire of farmers, Padam Shri Hans Raj Hans said that now he is 'Minnat Raj Minnat' as he is always pleading. A video also went viral, in which he said that his wife tells him to unfold his hands when he falls asleep as he always appears to be pleading with folded hands.

Farmers are protesting against BJP candidate to show their anger against the central government about the unfulfilled promises made to them during the farmers' protest against now repealed three farm laws at the Delhi border in 2020-21, scuttling the farmers’ march to Delhi and the death of Shubhkaran Singh at the Punjab-Haryana border during the ‘Dilli Chalo’ protest march.
