'Janta Moye Moye kar degi': Rajnath Singh hits out at INDIA with viral meme

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took a jab at the opposition, saying INDIA bloc won't stand a chance against NDA or BJP in the elections.

He invoked the viral meme, saying, 'desh ki janta Moye Moye kar degi' (the people of this country will make the Opposition come a cropper in the elections.)

Singh was speaking in support of BJP candidate Atul Garg during the election campaign in Ghaziabad.

Singh pointed out that although various opposition parties formed alliances to defeat BJP, it's just a temporary union driven by self-interest. However, he said INDIA bloc won't stand a chance against NDA.

He expressed confidence that the people will choose wisely in the elections.

Singh mentioned the popular 'Moye Moye' trend, originating from a Serbian song that became viral on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Despite the song's somber themes, Indian netizens made humorous reels and memes with it.

He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts in rescuing and repatriating Indian citizens stuck in Ukraine due to the conflict. Singh highlighted Modi's diplomatic skills in coordinating with leaders worldwide to bring back stranded Indian students, a feat he believes no other leader could have accomplished.

Furthermore, Singh commended Modi for elevating India's reputation on the global stage since assuming office in 2014.
