How to find your polling booth? | Lok Sabha elections

India will begin voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 from April 19. The phase one polling will cover 102 constituencies spread across 21 states and Union Territories (UTs). The counting of the votes will take place on June 4.

There are a number of people who are going to vote for the first time on April 19. To find out which polling booth in the assembly segment you are to vote at, know this step-by-step guide:

The main thing that is required is the EPIC number on the Voter ID card.

What is the EPIC number?

The Election Photo ID Card (EPIC), also known as the Voter ID Card, has a unique 10-digit alpha-numeric EPIC code, assigned by the Election Commission of India (ECI). The number is proof that you are a registered voter.

How to find your polling booth

Step 1: You need to log in to electoralsearch.eci.gov.in.

Step 2: Navigate on the website 'Know your Polling Station and Officer

Step 3: Now, you need to enter the Voter ID or EPIC number in the box.

Step 4: Fill in Captcha and enter

Step 5: You will now get the details, including the name and phone number of the Booth Level Officer, Electoral Registration Officer, and District Election Officer.
