Former Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam aka OPS vs OPS vs OPS vs OPS vs OPS in Ramanathapuram

Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu O Panneerselvam better known as OPS is contesting the Lok Sabha Elections from Ramanathapuram constituency. However, the bigger challenge for him is not to win the elections but to prove who is the 'real OPS'.

From Ramanathapuram Lok Sabha constituency, four candidates with the same name- OPS, have filed nominations. A total of five O Panneerselvams are contesting from the Ramanathapuram seat.

All of them including the former Chief Minister have filed nominations as independent candidates. The people with the same name and initial as the former chief minister OPS are Ochappan Panneerselvam, Oyya Thevar Panneerselvam, Ocha Thevar Panneerselvam, Oyyaram Panneerselvam, as per the Election Commission's data.
