Boxer Vijender Singh joins BJP, a look at Fugly actor's showbiz career

Boxer Vijender Singh joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on April 3, ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He earlier contested the 2019 elections as a Congress candidate.

Apart from politics, he tried his hands at showbiz too. In 2014, he made his debut in Bollywood with Fugly starring Kiara Advani, Mohit Marwah, and Jimmy Shergill, among others. Vijendra Singh played the role of Gaurav.

A year after that, he became the judge of a reality show Roadies. However, he took a break from showbiz but that didn't last long. In 2023, he played the role of an antagonist in Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

Singh also said that it was a phone call from Salman Khan which pulled him back to the world of showbiz.
