Gujarat: BJP's Rivaba Jadeja, wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, on party's dominant performance

Rivaba Jadeja, BJP candidate from Jamnagar North and wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, commented on her party's performance in the Gujarat Assembly Elections, in which the ruling party appears to have bucked anti-incumbency in style, and comprehensively increased its tally.

Jadeja said, 'Manner in which BJP worked in Gujarat for last 27 yrs & established Gujarat model, people believed they want to take forward the development journey with only BJP. Gujarat was with BJP&will continue to be with them,'

Rivaba, who is leading from Jamnagar North, according to Election Commission data, added, 'Those who accepted me happily as a candidate, worked for me, reached out & connected to people - I thank them all. It's not just my victory but of all of us.'
