Nykaa glams up investor portfolio, Blockbuster listing gives 80% premium

Beauty startup Nykaa has added the glam back to the street with a blockbuster listing. India's first woman founded billion dollar company listed at nearly double it's issue price. Falguni Nayar founded Nykaa listed at a premium of over 80% at ₹2,054/sh against the issue price of ₹1,125/Sh #NykaaListing. The company also hit the milestone of Rs 1 lakh crore marketcap minutes after listing.

The Nykaa IPO opened for subscription from October 28-November 1, 2021. The issue was subscribed 82 times, with the portion for qualified institutions bidders subscribed over 91 times, while non-institutional buyers' quote received bids 112 times more than the quota. Retail bidders' portion was subscribed over 12.24 times.
