According to a White House schedule, a ceremony is planned in the Oval Office where Trump will participate in “a Swearing-in Ceremony for the Ambassador to the Republic of India.” The US Senate confirmed Gor for this esteemed role in October after Trump had previously elevated him from his position as Director of Presidential Personnel in August. Gor has also been designated as Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs.
