Israel military warns Gazans to move south or risk being seen as 'sympathisers' of terrorists

As Israel declared it is stepping up attacks on Gaza, the Israeli Defence Forces issued a fresh warning to residents in the northern region of Gaza to move south or risk being identified as sympathisers of terrorists, Reuters reported.

As per the report, Palestinians received renewed warnings through leaflets marked with the Israel Defense Forces name and logo. The warning was also sent to people via mobile phone audio messages across the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the IDF said that 212 people are presently being held by the militants in the Gaza Strip since the October 7 invasion by Hamas.
