Hamas: 20 trucks of aid not enough to tackle Gaza catastrophe

As humanitarian aid was allowed to enter the Gaza Strip after 15 days of complete siege and bombardment by Israel, a Hamas Spokesperson in a statement to Arab news has said that 20 trucks of aid that have entered bombarded Gaza is not enough to tackle the catastrophe that has befallen the Gazans.

The news agency quoted the spokesperson of Hamas Salama Maarouf saying that a safe corridor that remains operational round the clock should be open to provide humanitarian needs.

The unabated aerial strikes by Israel on the Gaza Strip have resulted in the death of 4100 Palestinians and several thousand injured. Hamas has stressed allowing the injured to travel so that they can receive proper medical care.
