Rubin Hermann hit four sixes and 63 runs as South Africa beat Zimbabwe by seven wickets with 16 balls remaining in a T20 tri-series match.
The comfortable win means South Africa and New Zealand will contest the final on Saturday after Zimbabwe lost for the third straight time.
Chasing a target of 145, Hermann and captain Rassie van der Dussen (52 not out in 41 deliveries) led the chase at Harare Sports Club. They took South Africa from 22-2 to 128-3 when Hermann, who also hit three fours in his 36-ball innings, was bowled by Richard Ngarava.
Van der Dussen was there at the end with Dewald Brevis as South Africa scored 145-3 in 17.2 overs, winning the match with a wide bowled by Trevor Gwandu.
Zimbabwe earlier lost the toss and scored 144-6 in its 20 overs.
Brian Bennett top-scored for the hosts with a 43-ball 61, which included three sixes and seven fours. Bennett shared a 78-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Ryan Burl (36 not out in 31 balls). Fast-medium pacer Corbin Bosch took 2-16 in four overs.

The 51-year-old, who previously woke up to find a crocodile under his bed in 2013, sustained serious injuries from the attack, necessitating emergency surgery.
The incident unfolded while Whittall was accompanied by his loyal dog Chikara, who also suffered injuries in the effort to defend his owner. The dramatic confrontation left Whittall bloodied and in urgent need of medical attention. He was initially stabilized at the nearby Hippo Clinic by the diligent medical staff before being airlifted to Harare for further treatment.
Hannah Stooks-Whittall, Whittall&rsquo;s wife, provided a detailed account of the harrowing experience on her Facebook page. She described the sequence of events leading to her husband's emergency airlift and subsequent hospital transfer. &ldquo;...Guy&rsquo;s run in with a wounded leopard earlier today. We are very fortunate that he was stabilized at Hippo Clinic by wonderful staff. He was then airlifted from Buffalo Range by ace ambulance to Harare, then transferred to Milton Park Hospital for treatment. He is currently awaiting surgery tomorrow morning as he lost a lot of blood today,&rdquo; she detailed in her post.
Reflecting on the incident, Hannah also spoke to MailOnline, expressing her relief and amazement at her husband's fortune in surviving yet another dangerous wildlife encounter. "He really is one lucky man," she said. "First he had the crocodile and now the leopard, he really is the cat with nine lives."

Zimbabwe all-rounders Wessly Madhevere and Brandon Mavuta along with batter Kevin Kasuza were suspended from all cricket for recreational drug use.&nbsp; Madhevere and Mavuta have been banned by Zimbabwe Cricket for a period of four months and were also fined 50% of their salaries of three months effective from January 2024.&nbsp; Madhevere and Mavuta's rehabilitation will be undertaken by the cricket board. The two last featured for Zimbabwe against Ireland in December 2023.&nbsp; Meanwhile, Kasuza has been suspended from all cricket-related activities with immediate effect after he tested positive for a drug last week.&nbsp; Kasuza has not played for Zimbabwe since 2021.&nbsp;

Zimbabwe Cricket dealt a huge blow on Thursday as two of their cricketers were found guilty of breaching the anti-doping rules ahead of their tour to Sri Lanka.
International cricketers Wesley Madhevere and Brandon Mavuta were suspended immediately and were barred from participating in any cricket activities pending a hearing and have been charged under the Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) Code of Conduct.
Both tested positive for a banned recreational drug in an out-of-competition case during a recent in-house doping test, according to a statement from ZC.
Mavuta has played 26 international games, including the recent match against Ireland, while Madhevere has represented Zimbabwe in nearly 100 matches.
Zimbabwe is touring Sri Lanka in January, with the 3-match ODI series starting on the 3rd next year. They will also play as many T20Is following that.

Scotland knocked out hosts Zimbabwe from 2023 ODI World Cup qualifiers after an improbable 31-run win in their Super Six match on July 4.
Put to bat first, Scotland managed to put up a respectable score of 234/8 in what was a must-win encounter for both sides.
Michael Leask top-scored for the Scots with 48 runs.
Chasing 235, the hosts got off to the worst possible start with opener Joylord Gumbie getting out for a golden duck courtesy of a Chris Sole delivery.

While Bangladesh registered their 2nd win in 3 games, Zimbabwe was handed it's first loss in 3 games.

T20 World Cup 2022 is certainly not for the weak hearted.
Bangladesh had their hearts in the mouth as Zimbabwe looked on course to pull off another sensational win but last-over drama saw Shakib-al-Hasan's men claim a thrilling 3-run victory.
Opting to bat first, Bangladesh had a shaky start and lost wickets at regular intervals but opener Najmul Hossain Shanto dropped anchor and helped his side finish at 150/7 with a gritty 71.
It may have been a low total to defend but Bangladesh bowlers were up for the task. Zimbabwe was pushed against the wall within the powerplay overs as they found themselves wanting at 35/4.
Sean Williams kept his side in the run-chase with a 42-ball-64 but his run out in the penultimate over swung the momentum in favour of Bangladesh. Zimbabwe needed 16 off the final over but a couple of unexpected blows from tailender Richard Ngarava brough the equation down to 5 required off the last ball.
The drama didn't end there as Blessing Muzarabani was stumped and players left the field only to be called back as it turned out to be a no ball as the keeper had gathered the ball Infront of the stumps.

After Pakistan's shocking defeat to Zimbabwe in the T20 World Cup 2022, former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar lashed out at the Men in Green's performance in the tournament so far, blaming the players, selection committee, and management.
The 47-year-old also gave his opinion on the Indian team saying that they too aren't unbeatable and will be returning home after the semi-final stage of the World Cup.
"I had already told Pakistan will come back this week. And India will come back next week after playing semi-final. Woh bhi koi Tees Maar Khan nahi hai (India are also not some unbeatable side) and we &hellip; I am so angry I don&rsquo;t want to say some bad things." said Akhtar on his Youtube channel.
The former Pakistan pacer also questioned skipper Babar Azam's calls, stating how he always said there's a "major flaw in captaincy".
Shoaib is not the only one who has criticised the Pakistani side. Other former players &amp; captains like Wasim Akram, Misbah-ul-Haq, Waqar Younis, Aaqib Javed &amp; Moin Khan also hit out at the Pakistani team after their failure against Zimbabwe.

But who is this fake Mr Bean which not only led to the fans being involved in social media banters but also involved the president of Zimbabwe and Pakistan's Prime Minister?
The incident dates back to 2016 when Pakistan had paid a fake Mr Bean to go and perform in Zimbabwe. He even had the luxury of a police escort.
The man was actually Pakistani comedian Asif Mohammad, who is usually referred to 'Pakistani Mr Bean' because of his similar appearance to the original actor Rowan Atkinson. He made an appearance at the Harare International Conference Centre, which cost the fans $10 each. With the show being a complete flop, many people were left disappointed.
One of the angry fans replied on a post by PCB's official twitter handle saying that what Pakistan had done with the people of Zimbabwe will not be forgiven easily and that they're seeking to settle this matter on the field during Zimbabwe's group match against Pakistan.
Suddenly, the encounter was turned into a grudge match with many fans even calling it a Bean derby.
This Prompted reactions from all over, including the Zimbabwean President himself. After Zimbabwe snatched a historic 1-run win, Emmerson Mnangagwa took a dig at Pakistan saying "Next time, send the real Mr Bean..."
This prompted a response by the Pakistan Prime Minister as well. Shehbaz Sharif responded by saying "We may not have the real Mr Bean, but we have real cricketing spirit and we Pakistanis have a funny habit of bouncing back."

Having opted to bat, the Scotsmen didn't enjoy a great powerplay, losing 2 wickets inside the first 6 overs.

Chasing a formidable 175, Ireland got off to the worst start possible. The big-hitting Paul Stirling perished for a duck and then there was a procession. At 22/4, the game was all but over for the Irish.
While a few batters did get starts, none of them could kick on, and eventually, they finished with 143/9 from their 20 overs, losing their T20 World Cup opener by 31 runs.
