Prasad's tweet was regarding the ODI World Cup ticketing fiasco. On September 9, he had written, 'It takes one corrupt, arrogant guy to take away the hardwork of an organisation that is generally non-corrupt and get a stamp of corruption on the whole leadership, not just on a micro level but at a large level.'&nbsp; While several assumed it was about someone in particular, Prasad says that he was 100% misinterpreted.&nbsp; 'Since in my other tweets, I had tweeted about tickets, it looked mixed up. My criticism for BCCI was clear about the ticketing and scheduling,' he added.&nbsp; On September 10, the 54-year-old issued a modified version of the tweet which read, 'It takes one corrupt, arrogant guy to take away the hardwork of an otherwise non-corrupt organisation and spoil the reputation of an entire organisation &amp; the impact isn&rsquo;t just micro but at a macro level. Former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has expressed his strong dissatisfaction with Team India's performance in limited-overs cricket over the past few years. He criticized the Men in Blue for their lacklustre showings, highlighting series losses against Bangladesh, South Africa, and Australia. Additionally, he pointed out their subpar performances in the last two T20 World Cups.
In a tweet, Prasad remarked, "Test cricket aside, India has been very ordinary in the other two formats for quite sometime now. Lost odi series against Ban, SA and Aus. Poor in the last two T20 World Cups. Neither are we an exciting team like England nor brutal like how the Aussies used to be."
He further highlighted concerns about India's approach and attitude despite the financial power, stating, "Despite the money and power, we have become used to celebrating mediocrity and are far from how champion sides are. Every team plays to win and so does India but their approach and attitude is also a factor for underperformance over a period of time."

Prasad's remarks came in the aftermath of India's disappointing 6-wicket loss against the West Indies in the second ODI, which led to questions about the team management's decision to rest senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
