Actor Swara Bhasker and politician-activist Fahad Ahmed had their mehendi and sangeet ceremony in Delhi on Sunday evening after a &lsquo;colourful&rsquo; haldi ceremony. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she shared several pictures and videos from the events. Folk singer Deene Khan performed live at the sangeet. Sharing a picture of the musician, Swara wrote, &lsquo;What a way to start the night!&rsquo;
She also shared a few photos of the decor from the Sangeet function. Swara donned a bright orange gotapatti anarkali for the mehendi ceremony, while Fahad wore a sky-blue kurta pyjama with a Nehru jacket. For the musical sangeet, the couple twinned in green outfits.

As per India Love Project, the card has a message for the newlywed couple that reads, &lsquo;Sometimes you search far and wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but found friendship first.&rsquo; It added, &lsquo;It began at a citizen protest (but of course!), it grew with each political development in the country, till we each discovered the person behind the cause&rsquo;.
According to sources, Swara will have an intimate wedding at her grandmother&rsquo;s house in Delhi. The wedding preparations have already begun, and the pre-wedding festivities will start from March 11. &nbsp;

As soon as the actor announced the news, an old tweet of hers resurfaced and netizens were quick to troll her. In the tweet, she referred to Fahad as &lsquo;bhai&rsquo; (brother).
The tweet, which is now going viral on the internet, was posted less than a month after the couple had registered their marriage. Many mocked the actor for calling her husband &lsquo;bhai&rsquo;.
