The parents of the late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala, joyfully announced the arrival of a baby boy on 17th March, nearly two years after the artiste's tragic demise in Punjab's Mansa district.
Balkaur Singh, Moosewala's father, took to his Facebook page to share the heartwarming news, expressing gratitude for the blessings and love from countless admirers. He conveyed that he and his wife Charan Kaur were blessed with Moosewala's younger brother.
In a heartfelt Punjabi post, Balkaur expressed, "With the blessings of lakhs and crores of people who love Shubhdeep, the Almighty has blessed us with Shubh's little brother." He further conveyed that the family is in good health and expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and support from well-wishers.

While there hasn't been an official statement from the late singer's parents, this was confirmed by Moosewala&rsquo;s uncle Chamkaur Singh as per a report by The Tribune. It's reported that Moosewala's mother, Charan Kaur, is 58 years old, and his father is 60.&nbsp; The couple has reportedly chosen In vitro fertilization (IVF) to conceive. &nbsp;
<h3>Process of IVF in post menopausal women&nbsp;</h3>
Speaking with Editorji, Kolkata based gynaecologist, Dr. Lakshmi Raman said post menopausal women can opt for IVF either with their own eggs frozen during reproductive ages or they can opt for IVF via oocyte (egg cell) donation from young donors.
In post menopausal women, the uterus is atrophic and the endometrial lining has thinned, so several cycles of hormonal therapy is needed to help ready the uterus for pregnancy. Post IVF also women need to undergo hormonal therapies.
<h3>Is it safe to go for IVF post menopause?&nbsp;</h3>
Dr. Lakshmi Raman said that the complications depend on overall health of the mother. Most of the complications include

<li>Gestational diabetes melitus</li>
<li>PROM (Pre mature ruptal of membranes)</li>
<li>Placental complications</li>
<li>IUGR (Intra uterine growth retardation)</li>
<li>Trisomy (Like Down's Syndrome)</li>

According to Healthline, when compared with premenopausal women, postmenopausal women experience more complications of pregnancy after IVF. An expert fertility counseling and careful medical monitoring is needed in this case or else it might get extremely complicated.&nbsp;

In vitro fertilization (IVF) after menopause, particularly natural menopause (when menstruation stops permanently), is generally not recommended. This is because menopause signifies the end of a woman's reproductive years, during which her ovaries no longer produce eggs regularly. Without viable eggs, conception through IVF becomes very challenging, if not impossible, without donor eggs.&nbsp;
However, some women may undergo IVF using donor eggs or embryos even after menopause if they have a strong desire for pregnancy and are in good health. In such cases, the success rates may vary depending on factors such as the quality of the eggs or embryos, the woman's overall health, and any underlying medical conditions.&nbsp;
It's essential for women considering IVF after menopause to discuss their options thoroughly with a reproductive endocrinologist or fertility specialist. These specialists can provide personalized advice based on the individual's medical history, age, and specific circumstances. Moosewala's father said that when people have gathered in his native village to pay tributes to the late singer and hold prayers, they do not have access to internet. People do not have access to internet but gangsters lodged in jails have it, he alleged.
He also claimed that gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi were having a free run as he referred to one of his recent TV interviews. "When he (Lawrence Bishnoi) appeared on TV, I felt like my son has died again," he said. Balkaur Singh reiterated that the alleged masterminds behind his son's murder were still at large.

Before he tragically lost his life to bullets on May 29, Punjabi Rap&rsquo;s rising star lived life at breaking pace, already achieving many accolades by the age of 28.
Born Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu in the village of Moosa in the Mansa district of Punjab, Moose Wala chose his stage name to honour his place of birth. He reportedly started listening to hip hop music from Grade 6, and admired the music of Tupac Shakur, widely considered one of the most influential rappers of all time.
In 2016, after completing an engineering degree, Moose Wala moved to Brampton in the Ontario province of Canada, where he shot to fame with his 2017 song &lsquo;So High&rsquo;. He started his own music label, in his own name, under which he released two of his own albums, along with works by other artists. The label later came to be called 5911 records, in reference to a popular tractor. It was on a 5911 tractor that his body was carried for last rites at his funeral.

Along with references to farms and tractors were lyrics about bravado, self-belief, and rebellion. They included aggressive lines about firing guns, pot shots at rivals, and lines referencing rebellion against religious norms. These lyrics, which spoke deeply to fans and endeared him to many, also landed him in controversy. Moose Wala was criticised for promoting gun culture, a problem many see as endemic to the Punjabi film and music industries. In 2019, police barred him from performing in Surrey in the UK, citing a risk of violence. In India, he was booked under two sections of the Arms Act in 2020 for a video where police officers were showing him how to fire guns.
Moose Wala was also active in Indian politics. He supported the farmers&rsquo; protests against the government&rsquo;s three proposed farm laws, now repealed. He later joined the Indian National Congress ahead of the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections, which he contested from his home constituency of Mansa. Despite massive crowds at his political rallies, much like his concerts, he lost to the Aam Aadmi Party&rsquo;s Vijay Singla by a margin of over 63,000 votes. He released his song &rsquo;Scapegoat&rsquo; in April, lamenting his failure in the elections.
On May 29, Sidhu Moose Wala was driving his car in Mansa when he was shot at by assailants, and perished as a result. Reports indicate he was shot over two dozen times. It was in Canada that Sidhu Moose Wala made his name as a global star, and it&rsquo;s those ties that seem to have come back to haunt him.

Punjab police linked the murder to a gang run by Lawrence Bishnoi, a criminal who is linked with over two dozen murder and extortion cases, and is presently incarcerated in Tihar jail. A Facebook profile claiming to be Goldy Brar, a Canada-based gangster linked with the gang, has taken responsibility for the killing, saying that Moose Wala was killed to avenge the murders of his cousin, and a fellow gang member. Moose Wala&rsquo;s manager, Shaganpreet, was reportedly linked with the murders.
Parts of Canada have long suffered from organised crime by Indo-Canadian gangs, many of whom are staffed by second-generation immigrants from Punjab. According to a report, between 2006 to 2014, South Asians accounted for 21.3% of gang-related deaths in the British Columbia region. In April 2021, police busted an Indo-Canadian drug trafficking network in the city of Brampton, where Moose Wala made his name, and seized over $2.3 million in drugs, and 48 fire arms.
Moose Wala&rsquo;s family has denied all links to gang-related crimes, and demanded an independent probe into the shooting, presided over by a sitting High Court judge.
Sidhu Moose Wala&rsquo;s life eerily resembles that of his icon, Tupac Shakur. On May 15, a fortnight before his eventual death, Moose Wala released a song titled &lsquo;The Last Ride&rsquo;. In it, he talks about how the glow on the young man&rsquo;s face expresses, that he knows he will die young. The cover art for the single is an image of Tupac Shakur&rsquo;s car, in which he was shot and killed in 1996. He was only 25, and the controversial murder was purported to have ties to organised crime.
Like Tupac, Sidhu Moose Wala had a short career, in which he moved fast, broke rules, courted controversy, and endeared himself to many. Like Tupac, Moose Wala&rsquo;s legacy will likely outlive him, and reach far and wide.

Deepak Tinu escaped from the custody of the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) unit of the Mansa Police on the intervening night of October 1 and 2, 2022.
The alleged gangster had been brought from Goindwal Sahib jail in Tarn Taran to Mansa district for a different murder case probe when he managed to flee. Deepak Tinu was being taken from the Mansa CIA police station by CIA in-charge Pritpal Singh in his car when he escaped. Police said that the CIA in-charge did not have permission to take the gangster with him.
The CIA in-charge was subsequently dismissed from service. Punjab Police said they are coordinating with Haryana's Special Task Force and Delhi's Special Cell to capture Deepak Tinu.

Punjab court on Monday reportedly ordered the removal of all promotional materials and advertisements related to the song on all social media platforms due to copyright infringement, and the illegal use of Moose Wala's name and image. The late singer’s parents filed a suit for permanent injunction against music composers Salim-Sulaiman, and company, Merchant Records Pvt Ltd, along with some other entities and digital platforms.
Salim Merchant took to social media on August 25th and announced that Sidhu Moose Wala’s last song ‘Jaandi Vaar’ would release on September 2. They also promised that a portion of the collected revenue would be given to the singer’s family. The song, which also consists of vocals by singer Afsana Khan, was recorded in Chandigarh in July last year.

The Delhi Police arrested Ankit and Sachin Bhiwani Sunday night. The two are wanted criminals belonging to Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gang alliance, they said.
According to police, Ankit was one of the shooters involved in the killing of Moosewala, while Bhiwani was responsible for harbouring four of the shooters.
With this, the city police has so far arrested five people in connection with the case, they said.
A senior police officer said Bhiwani, a native of Haryana, handles the operations of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in Rajasthan. He is also wanted in a case at Churu in Rajasthan.
He also said that Ankit, a resident of Sersa village in Haryana, is also named in two other cases of attempt to murder in Rajasthan.
A 9 mm pistol along with 10 live cartridges, a 30 mm pistol with nine live cartridges, three police uniforms of Punjab Police and two mobile handsets along with a dongle and SIM card have been seized from their possession, police said.
Last month, the Special Cell arrested three people, including two shooters, in connection with the killing of Moosewala.

The shooters had arranged the uniform of Punjab Police, but did not use it as they could not arrange the identity cards and name badges for themselves, they said.
The accused had conducted recces eight to nine times before executing the murder.
The accused changed around five locations while conducting the recce, police said, adding that they reached Kutch after taking a lift in truck.

The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested three persons, including two shooters, in connection with the killing of popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, officials said on Monday.
The accused have been identified as Priyavrat alias Fauji (26), a resident of Sonipat in Haryana, Kashish (24), also from the state's Jhajjar district, and Keshav Kumar (29), a resident of Bhatinda in Punjab, they said.
The trio were arrested on June 19 from Kutch in Gujarat, police said.
HGS Dhaliwal, special CP, Delhi Police that the accused had conducted multiple recces before executing the murder.
Eight grenades, nine electric detonators, three pistols and one assault rifle have been recovered from arrested accused, Dhaliwal said at a media briefing here.
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29.
The police said Priyavrat led a team of shooters and was in direct touch with Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar at the time of the incident.
Brar has claimed responsibility for the killing of the popular singer.
Priyavrat could be seen in a CCTV footage of a petrol pump prior to the incident. He was previously involved in two murder cases and was arrested in 2015 in one of the cases in Sonipat and also wanted in another murder case in Sonipat in 2021, police said.
Kashish was also one of the shooters and was also seen in the CCTV footage. He is wanted in a 2021 murder case in Haryana's Jhajjar, Hthey said.
Kumar was the facilitator and received the shooters just after the shootout in an Alto car. He accompanied the shooters till Mansa on the day of incident, police said, adding that he was previously arrested in a murder case in Bathinda in 2020 and suspected to be involved in other cases of extortion in Punjab.
