Actor Shriya Saran, who is currently basking in the success of her latest release &lsquo;Drishyam 2&rsquo;, opened up about her pregnancy and why she chose not to announce it.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/shriya-saran-reacts-after-being-trolled-for-kissing-her-husband-in-public-says-it-s-kind-of-funny-1669207163859">Shriya</a> said that one of the main reasons why she didn&rsquo;t speak about her pregnancy was that she wanted to make it her own time and spend time with herself. She said she wanted to have those six months with Radha and be fat and not worry about what people wrote about her.
&lsquo;There is a lot of fear. I feel one of the main reasons why I did not speak about my pregnancy was of course that I wanted to make it as my own time and spend time with myself and have those six months with Radha and be fat and whatever and not worry about what people write about me and just concentrate on my child. So one strong reason was that,&rsquo; she said.
She also mentioned that she was scared that if she talked about her pregnancy people would take 'that much longer time to come back and give me work'.
&lsquo;It&rsquo;s a visual medium and people expect you to look a certain way and so when I came back and spoke about my pregnancy, I was already working. So I had already signed like three films. Radha was nine months old and I had already shed all my pregnancy weight. There is that pressure,&rsquo; Shriya told Pinkvilla.
Shriya married with her Russian boyfriend Andrei Koscheev on March 19, 2018. Last year in October, Shriya and Andrei announced that they were parents to a daughter, Radha, born on January 10, 2021.

To celebrate this achievement, makers organised a grand success bash in Mumbai which was attended by celebrities like Ajay, Shriya, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Anand Pandit.
Ajay Devgn arrived in a casual yet chic ensemble for the bash. Ishita donned a sparkling silvery dress and was accompanied by her husband, actor Vatsal Sheth. Tabu, Shriya, Mrunal Jadhav, best known for portraying the role of Anu Salgaonkar in the film, and director Abhishek Pathak, were also spotted at the venue.

Director SS Rajamouli, who is currently basking in the success of &lsquo;RRR&rsquo;, is participating in a round of publicity ahead of the BAFTA nominations in the UK. He recently opened up about being approached for Hollywood projects in an exclusive conversation with Total Film.
When asked if he is being approached by Kevin Feige for a Marvel movie, or anything like that, Rajamouli said that there are a lot enquiries from Hollywood, but at present, he&rsquo;s committed to doing a movie with Mahesh Babu, who is a big Telugu star.
&lsquo;I am committed to doing a film with him. But I would definitely like to learn so much from Hollywood, their style of working, their methodology. I&rsquo;m seeing how we can collaborate and make it a richer experience,&rsquo; he said.
'RRR', starring N. T. Rama Rao, and Jr Ram Charan, has garnered immense love not only from the audience but also from celebrities. The film wasn&rsquo;t selected as India&rsquo;s official entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards, but Rajamouli kick-started an Oscar campaign for the film and submitted nominations in all major categories.
Actor Shriya Saran, who was also a part of &lsquo;RRR, is happy with Rajamouli&rsquo;s decision. In an exclusive interview with News18 India, she said, 'It&rsquo;s great. That&rsquo;s what I love about Rajamouli sir. He&rsquo;s such a believer, he&rsquo;s such a doer!'

During the event, the couple was shared a kiss as they posed for the cameras. Their act received huge criticism from many people and the actor was massively trolled on social media. &nbsp;
While few Twitter users felt that they &lsquo;overreacted&rsquo; at the event, some questioned &lsquo;Why do they have to kiss in public every time? &nbsp;
Shriya Saran has now reacted to the trolls. She said that Andrei thinks it's normal to kiss her during special moments.
In an interaction with News 18, she said, &lsquo;It&rsquo;s kind of funny! Andrei thinks that it&rsquo;s normal to kiss me during my special moment and I think it&rsquo;s beautiful. He doesn&rsquo;t understand why we would be trolled for something so natural. But it is okay, it is fine (laughs)! I don&rsquo;t read bad comments or react to them. It&rsquo;s their (trolls) job to write and my job is to avoid them. I only do what I&rsquo;ve to do.&rsquo; &nbsp;
Shriya Saran also opened up about her husband&rsquo;s reaction to &lsquo;Drishyam 2&rsquo;, &lsquo;RRR&rsquo; and &lsquo;Gamanam&rsquo; and said, &lsquo;He really loved it but he told me that he needs to watch it again to understand it properly. The other day, we were talking about it at two o&rsquo;clock in the morning, which was really interesting. The film is like that because there&rsquo;s so much going and by the end of it, you&rsquo;re trying to figure out what happened.&rsquo; &nbsp;

Actor Shriya Saran, whose recent release &lsquo;Drishyam 2&rsquo; is receiving a positive response at the box office, talked about Samantha Ruth Prabhu&rsquo;s myositis revelation in a recent interview. The actor said that Samantha is a strong and beautiful girl inside and out. She said the &lsquo;Theri&rsquo; actor&rsquo;s condition is just a passing phase and she will come out stronger.
Samantha, who was recently seen in the thriller film &lsquo;Yashoda&rsquo;, had shared that she has been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, called Myositis, earlier this month.
In an Instagram post, she wrote, &lsquo;I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don&rsquo;t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days&hellip;. physically and emotionally&hellip;. and even when it feels like I can&rsquo;t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes (sic).&rsquo;
&lsquo;Yashoda&rsquo; opened to a great response and earned over Rs 30 crore at the box office.
Shriya Saran also talked about &lsquo;Drishyam 2&rsquo; which is successfully running in theatres and mentioned that her family is not able to get tickets for the film because of the high demand.
&lsquo;My mother couldn&rsquo;t get a ticket. My didis (sisters) are going to watch the film sitting in the front row on Saturday. Can you believe that?,&rsquo; she said.
She also asked if the marital status of a female actor affects their acting career, to which she replied, &lsquo;That&rsquo;s been just for the past twenty years. Before that actresses were getting married and having kids and working. It wasn&rsquo;t a big deal. Kareena Kapoor Khan changed that. And Kajol started working after marriage. So, it doesn&rsquo;t really matter.&rsquo;

&lsquo;Drishyam 2&rsquo;, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, is finally in theatres. A special screening of the Abhishek Pathak directorial was held in Mumbai on Thursday. The lead actors were accompanied by their spouses to watch the film.
Ajay arrived for the screening with Kajol and they posed for the cameras together. The couple was twinning in black. Ajay donned a black tee and trousers paired with a matching jacket, while Kajol wore a black saree.
Ishita Dutta was joined by actor-husband Vatsal Sheth. She chose a shimmery green saree for the occasion while Vatsal wore a black suit.
Shriya Saran was accompanied by her husband Andrei Koscheev. She shared a quick kiss with her husband before entering the venue.

The film also stars Akshaye Khanna as Inspector General Tarun Ahlawat who will investigate the murder case once again in the sequel.
&lsquo;Drishyam&rsquo; was a remake of 2013's Malayalam movie of the same name. It was helmed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat, who died in 2020.
