A video of a security guard's daughter thanking her father for sending her to study abroad has gone viral, leaving social media users in awe.

A heartwarming video of a security guard's daughter expressing gratitude to her father for supporting her education abroad has taken the social media by storm. Dhanshree G shared a video on Instagram in which the father-daughter duo was seen having an emotional hug.&nbsp;
She wrote in the video, "To everyone who said to my father, 'You are just a guard, you can't send your daughter abroad'. He is my lifeguard and he did it."
The video has amassed 17 million views and 1.8 million likes on Instagram.
The girl's achievements and her father's efforts to get her there were applauded by celebrities and other social media users. Dhanshree's caption that read, "Thank you Pappa for believing in me," also touched several hearts.
Actor Ayushmann Khuranna reacted with a heart emoji. boAt founder Aman Gupta wrote, 'Inspiring. More power to you and your dad.'

NDTV reported that the attacker, identified as Jeremy Griffin, had an AR-15 assault rifle which he fired in the air while entering the clinic.
Soon after the gunshot was fired, the security guard risked his life to nab Griffin and pin him down to the ground.
US media reported that no one was injured in the attack when the attacker shot twice during the showdown with the security guard.
The viral video which has been shared across multiple platforms has garnered thousands of views.

Yet another case of physical assault of a security guard at a residential society has been reported from Uttar Pradesh's Noida.
In the latest incident, a CCTV camera captured a woman allegedly slapping a security guard named Sachin thrice. The video went viral on 11 September 2022. The incident occurred in Noida's Cleo County in sector 121.
The assailant was identified as Professor Sutapa Das, and reports said that she angry as the security guard was late in opening the gate. The woman was arrested after the guard filed a complaint. She subsequently secured bail.
In August 2022, a similar incident had occurred at the Jaypee Wishtown society in Noida's Sector 128. A lawyer named Bhavya Roy allegedly abused and manhandled security guards at the complex. She was arrested a day later, and subsequently granted bail.

The police on Sunday detained a woman for allegedly manhandling a security guard of a private agency outside a group housing society in Noida, officials said.
An FIR was also registered against the woman over the incident whose purported video surfaced on social media, they said.
The woman was in a sedan and the two sides got into an argument at the entry gate of Jaypee Wishtown society under Sector 126 police station limits, officials said.
"A video went viral on social media in which a woman was behaving indecently with the security guard in Jaypee Wishtown Society. Taking cognizance of the video, the local Sector-126 police station has lodged an FIR against the woman (Bhavya Roy)," the police said in a statement.

"After the FIR was lodged, the woman was detained and further investigation into the matter is underway," the police said.
The woman has been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 153A (acts prejudicial to harmony), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of public peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), among others, the police said.
