Noida: woman slaps security guard for delay in opening gate, say reports; 2nd incident in 2 months

Yet another case of physical assault of a security guard at a residential society has been reported from Uttar Pradesh's Noida.

In the latest incident, a CCTV camera captured a woman allegedly slapping a security guard named Sachin thrice. The video went viral on 11 September 2022. The incident occurred in Noida's Cleo County in sector 121.

The assailant was identified as Professor Sutapa Das, and reports said that she angry as the security guard was late in opening the gate. The woman was arrested after the guard filed a complaint. She subsequently secured bail.

In August 2022, a similar incident had occurred at the Jaypee Wishtown society in Noida's Sector 128. A lawyer named Bhavya Roy allegedly abused and manhandled security guards at the complex. She was arrested a day later, and subsequently granted bail.
