On camera: security guard tackles armed attacker in US

An unarmed security guard is winning the internet for his act of bravery.

A November 10 CCTV footage from Buffalo area of New York shows a man barging into a store brandishing gun at bystanders.

NDTV reported that the attacker, identified as Jeremy Griffin, had an AR-15 assault rifle which he fired in the air while entering the clinic.

Soon after the gunshot was fired, the security guard risked his life to nab Griffin and pin him down to the ground.

US media reported that no one was injured in the attack when the attacker shot twice during the showdown with the security guard.

The viral video which has been shared across multiple platforms has garnered thousands of views.
