Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty recently came under fire for calling S S Rajamouli's 'RRR' a 'gay love story.' His comment further triggered a tense exchange between him and 'Baahubali' producer Shobu Yarlagadda on Twitter.
Shobu lashed out at Resul and said that he was disappointed that someone of his accomplishments could 'stoop so low.' Resul quickly responded to his tweet and asked him not to take his comments 'seriously' as he meant no offense to any stakeholders.
Heard seeks to throw out verdict in Depp defamation trial
The lawyers of Amber Heard have asked a judge to throw out the $10.35 million verdict against her in the defamation case filed by former husband Johnny Depp. They claim that the verdict was not supported by the evidence and that one of the jurors may not have been properly vetted by the court.
Heard's attorneys, in post-trial motions filed on Friday, said that the jury's June 1 award of $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages to Depp was 'excessive' and indefensible.' They asked the judge to set aside the verdict and dismiss Depp's lawsuit or order a new trial. Soon after the verdict, the judge reduced the compensatory damages to $350,000 under a state cap.

How can you justify using this. Extremely disappointed that someone of your accomplishments can stoop so low! (sic),' he wrote. 
Resul was quick to respond to Shobu's tweet and asked him not to take his comments 'seriously' as he meant no offense to any stake holders.
'Agree totally.Absolutely nothing wrong even if it was. I merely quoted2 my frnd,d banter that already exists in public domain ¬hing else. There is no stooping factor in this.U don’t have2 take it seriously Shobu,I didn’t mean any offense2 any stake holders.I rest my case here! (sic),' he replied on Shobhu's tweet. 
'RRR,' which stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles, released on March 25 and garnered positive reviews. It is the third movie in the history of Indian cinema to have crossed ₹1000 crore box office collection worldwide. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran in pivotal roles.
