Director Rajkumar Hirani who has been enjoying the success of his film &lsquo;Dunki&rsquo; seems to be gearing up for his next projects. The ace director will mark a big first with his OTT debut this year. Giving out more details about his upcoming show, Hirani said that Vikrant Massey will be part of his show. Speaking to PTI, Hirani said, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m doing an OTT show, which we actually start shooting this month. I&rsquo;m a showrunner for that, I&rsquo;m not directing it. It&rsquo;s a show for Hotstar and Vikrant Massey is playing a role in it.&rdquo;
Hirani is excited about his new journey. Expressing the same, he said that he is very happy about the way everything has panned out. He added, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m really involved and it&rsquo;s in my own space.&rdquo; The director also revealed that COVID-19 gave him time to sit and work on more scripts. &nbsp;
The director also spoke on the possibility of making the third instalment of his hit &lsquo;Munnabhai&rsquo; series. He said that he would definitely like to make the third film but doesn&rsquo;t want to make the film just for the sake of it. &ldquo;There are many scripts written but none of them reached that level of greatness. I know that any 'Munnabhai' that I make will make a huge amount of money now. But I don&rsquo;t want to make it for that reason," Hirani said.
&lsquo;Dunki&rsquo; director Hirani is known for his remarkable box office success. His films like &lsquo;3 idiots&rsquo;, &lsquo;PK&rsquo; and &lsquo;Sanju&rsquo; were huge hits and have proven his finesse as a director. Rajkumar Hirani has opened up on &lsquo;Dunki&rsquo;s low box office collections. In an interview with ANI, Hirani spoke about the impact that the publicity of box office collections have on audience. &nbsp;&nbsp;
The filmmaker said, &ldquo;I feel it&rsquo;s temporary and it is possible that people get influenced. A person can hear something negative and it is possible that he won&rsquo;t go. It does have a little impact but in the longer run, that person will see it. If not here (theatre), then may be on OTT or satellite and then his love will stay with the film.&rdquo;&nbsp;
He added, &ldquo;I still feel that a barometer to judge a film should be&hellip; jo debate honi chahiye wo paiso se zyada film ki honi chahiye, film ke content se hone lagi hai. Thoda sa hum ye paiso se karne lage hai, ye tha nahi pehle, ye thoda sa badh gaya hai abhi. (The debate around a film should be more about its content than the money. These days we focus a little more on money.) Earlier, we used to go for a film innocently. We used to talk about the film but now the discussion around numbers has increased.&rdquo;&nbsp;
The filmmaker shared that SRK was invested in the film since the start. &ldquo;He is a brave actor and every actor wants to try something different. He did action films, so he wouldn&rsquo;t want to keep doing that. He was very involved, very happy with the story,&rdquo; he said.&nbsp;

According to ETimes report,  the 'Dunki' cast will fly to other European locations after shooting in London. After completion of the film’s foreign schedule, the team will be back in India in August.
