On February 2, the internet sensation's team issued a statement on her official Instagram account which stated that the actor lost the battle to the deadly disease, sending shockwaves across social media. A day after the death hoax, the actor has now come forward to share that she's proud of the buzz her death news generated as everyone it helped spark conversation around cervical cancer. However, her awareness stunt has not gone well with many social media users, including Pooja Bhatt and Tahira Kashyap.&nbsp;

On Friday, Pooja Bhatt expressed her shock over Poonam Pandey&rsquo;s supposed death, offering condolences to her family. However, &nbsp;she is taken aback after learning that Pandey faked her death, and Pooja Bhatt is appalled. After deleting her previous tweet in which she offered condolences, Pooja condemned Pandey's stunt and wrote, &ldquo;I never delete tweets but did so in the case where I expressed my shock at the news of Poonam Pandey&rsquo;s demise due to cervical cancer. Why? Turns out the news was engineered by a digital/PR team. Absolute disgrace &amp; disservice to those battling the same included."&nbsp;

Calling the reports &lsquo;absurd&rsquo;, she said that this is not new in our country.

Pooja also spoke about her equation with Alia and revealed that the 'Brahmastra' actor followed her 'BB OTT 2' journey closely.
&lsquo;Alia called me the day I came out of 'Bigg Boss' and told me 'Pooja, I have felt the closest to you during 'Bigg Boss' because there has been not a single day when I did not watch it.' She used to watch the show 24/7,&rsquo; Pooja shared.

Speaking with Siddharth Kanan, Pooja stated that she doesn&rsquo;t regret it and explained that &lsquo;unfortunately&rsquo; frozen moments can be represented and misrepresented by many.

She also shared that for parents you tend to always remain a baby, and you can show your affection by kissing them.

&lsquo;They fell in love very young and then things changed between them. He met Soni and decided to get married. And my father told me everything. People may question how a young child was kept in confidence but I prefer it that way. Today, I see no difference between my brother and sisters. We are of the same blood, we are family. Soni will always be family to me. Relationships can never be made or broken through paper,&rsquo; she said.

Actor-director Pooja Bhatt opened up about her divorce on the Salman Khan-hosted show &lsquo;Weekend Ka Vaar&rsquo; and called it the &lsquo;lowest time in her life&rsquo;.
On the show, Salman quizzed contestants on their lowest moments and many spoke about struggling in their careers, but no one spoke about their personal life.
Later, Pooja Bhatt confided in her co-housemate Jiya Shankar and shared how getting a divorce was &lsquo;totally her decision&rsquo;.
She shared, &lsquo;I said that I wanted to live my life with comfort or keep my 10 to 11 years old relationship. My husband was not a bad person. But then I thought I had lost myself and it was not for somebody else or the betterment of life. I wanted myself back&rsquo;.
Pooja also addressed how it wasn&rsquo;t easy to let go of an 11-year relationship. She said that it was sudden and felt like death.

Then I thought that I wanted to set myself free and find myself but I drilled myself more into a bad zone. So that phase in my life was the lowest phase of my life,&rsquo; she said.
Pooja said, &lsquo;That&rsquo;s very important but when I look back to that phase I never push myself away from it. I look straight in the eye and said yes you have become this otherwise what&rsquo;s the difference between a bottle and a person. So now the universe said that I am ready.&rsquo;
Earlier, Pooja had shared how her father&rsquo;s message about who will look after her after he&rsquo;s gone, made her stop drinking.

During a chat with Cyrus Broacha, she shared, &lsquo;I had a drinking problem, and that&rsquo;s why I acknowledged my addiction and made the decision to quit.&rsquo;

I used to drink openly so when I thought of recovering from alcoholism, I realised that why should I recover in the closet?&rsquo;
Pooja mentioned that people used to call her an alcoholic but then she said she&rsquo;s a recovering alcoholic.
Earlier, Pooja Bhatt addressed her alcoholism and recovery on social media.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, she had said, &lsquo;I was born to a man who has never done anything in half-measure and I inherited that. So when I drank, I drank copiously. Your appetite increases even as the alcohol does terrible things to your body, clutters your mind and colours your judgement of the people you&rsquo;re hanging out with.&rsquo;

Actor-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra here on Wednesday and walked with Rahul Gandhi.
Bhatt, the first noted Bollywood celebrity to have joined the Yatra, was seen walking with Gandhi while having a discussion with him. &nbsp;People cheered as she walked for some distance at a brisk pace with Gandhi.
The actor-director-producer has been vocal about various issues on social media.
She made her debut as an actor with the 1989 film "Daddy".
Daughter of veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, the actor delivered critically-acclaimed performances in movies such as "Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin", "Sadak", "Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee", "Sir" and "Zakhm", before venturing into production and direction with "Tammana", "Sur", "Paap" and "Holiday".
The Yatra resumed from MGB Bajaj showroom, Balanagar Main Road, Hyderabad City, with Rahul Gandhi along with other Bharat Yatris continuing their walk on the 56th day of the Yatra.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra commenced on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
Gandhi has completed the marathon walk in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, before beginning the Telangana leg of the yatra last week.
The Telangana state Congress has formed 10 special committees to coordinate the yatra.

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is winning hearts after the actor met his son Aryan Khan in Arthur Road jail on Thursday morning.
Netizens couldn&rsquo;t help but notice Shah Rukh&rsquo;s heartfelt gesture as while exiting, he greeted some fans outside with folded hands just not for once but twice.
However, the actor was mobbed by many camera persons following him closely, hounding him for footage.
This didn't go down well with Bollywood stars and they have now criticised it.

She called out the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Corporation (MSEDCL) on Twitter for their 'substandard service' and 'zero accountability'.
In a series of tweets, the 'Bombay Begums' star wrote, 'How do you expect people to cope through a pandemic with no electricity for 56 hrs?'.
Bhatt pointed out that the Cyclone Tauktae has come and gone but still the service provider has failed to resume the services in Khalapur, Kalote Mokashi, and Vasai/Virar.
Meanwhile, MSEDCL was quick to reply on Pooja Bhatt's tweet and said their team is working to figure out a solution as soon as possible.
