A plane operated by a Singapore-airline company landed in Taiwan with a missing nose wheel

A plane run by Singapore-based low-budget airline Scoot was found to have a missing nose wheel after landing at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport early on Monday after a flight from Seoul.
In the footage from local news channel EBC, the plane was seen taxiing on tarmac with one nose wheel missing.
The plane had landed safely and no one was injured.
According to a report by Central News Agency, the tyre pressure level had been detected as abnormal before the flight's descent.
After landing, the left nose wheel was missing, and the axle also appeared to be worn.
The Scoot flight failed to fly from Taoyuan Airport back to Singapore due to the loss of the left nose wheel.
Scoot issued a statement stating that flight TR897 from Incheon to Singapore via Taipei discovered a technical failure when it landed in Taipei.
According to the Ministry of Transportation, the Civil Aeronautics Administration and relevant authorities will investigate the incident.

Two-time Olympic 800m champion David Rudisha survived a plane crash in south-east Kenya on Saturday.
Rudisha was pictured alongside the plane which was upside down in a field.
The 33-year-old escaped unharmed and described the crash as a "scary episode."
One of the other occupants, Stephen Ole Marai, was being treated in hospital for rib injuries, while others were taken to hospital with minor injuries but later discharged. Two planes collided in Northern California while trying to land at a local airport Thursday and at least two of the three occupants were killed, officials said.
The collision occurred at Watsonville Municipal Airport shortly before 3 p.m., according to a tweet from the city of Watsonville.
There were two people aboard a twin-engine Cessna 340 and only the pilot aboard a single-engine Cessna 152 during the crash, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. Officials say multiple fatalities were reported but it was not immediately clear whether anyone survived.
The pilots were on their final approaches to the airport when the collision occurred, the FAA said in a statement. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board, which did not immediately have additional details, are investigating the crash.
No one on the ground was injured.
Photos and videos from the scene posted on social media showed the wreckage of one small plane in a grassy field by the airport. One picture showed a plume of smoke visible from a street near the airport.
A photo from the city of Watsonville showed damage to a small building at the airport, with firefighters on the scene.
The Watsonville Police Department referred calls to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, where a dispatcher had no information.
Watsonville, near the Monterey Bay, is about 100 miles (160 kilometers) south of San Francisco.
Two other pilots also were hurt in aircraft crashes elsewhere in California on Thursday.
A 65-year-old San Diego man received major but non-life threatening injuries when his single-engine plane crashed on a street near a busy freeway overpass in El Cajon, authorities said.
The plane reportedly struck an SUV but nobody on the ground was hurt in the city nearly 20 miles (32 kilometers) northeast of downtown San Diego.
Later, the pilot of an ultralight aircraft was critically injured when it crashed upside down on a building at the Camarillo Airport in Ventura County, about 60 miles (97 kilometers) from downtown Los Angeles.

Vincent Fraser had only received his pilot's license in October when his engine started to die on his small plane over North Carolina.
He was with his father in law up in the plane checking out land he had purchased near Fontana Lake in North Carolina.
They were among mountains when he felt the plane losing power.
"There was nowhere to land ... so I looked at him and I think I told him I loved him and that I was sorry for putting him in the situation," he said.
"And that's when he looked at me and said, 'I love you, too. You do the best you can and you're trained. And I have I have complete trust in you. And from there on, I was just like, 'Game on. Let's let's get down alive."
He decided against landing on the bridge and then planned on putting the plane down in the river, when Highway 19 in Swain County just revealed itself between mountains.
Then he had to dodge power lines and cars but managed to get down safely. No one was hurt and the plane was not damaged.
He's a former Marine who is currently a flight attendant. He wants to eventually become a commercial pilot.
When he got out of the plane, he did start having second thoughts.
"When I when I saw when I stood in front of the plane, when I got out, you know, I told myself, 'You're done.'"
"But after talking to all my family, all the support in the community, I got, you know, I got that passion back to do it. So I don't know if it happened just to give me more, I don't know if it was like to give me the confidence to continue or God forbid, this happens again, now I know that I can do it and I can make it out alive and safe."

A DHL cargo jet slid off the runway and broke in half while landing at San Jose's international airport Thursday, shutting down the airport, but not injuring crew.
The fire department said the Boeing 757 had taken off from Juan Santamaría Airport just west of the capital, but decided to return after detecting a failure in the hydraulic system.
Héctor Chaves, director the Costa Rica Fire Department, said that upon landing the aircraft skidded, turned and broke in two, exposing its cargo.
“Units mobilised to remove the pilot and co-pilot,” Chaves said. “Then they applied foam to prevent a spill and now they are working on an earthen dike to avoid any fuel from reaching the drainage system.” A spokesman for cargo carrier DHL said both pilots were unharmed but one was being undergoing a medical check as a precaution.
DHL spokesman Daniel McGrath said the company was working with airport authorities to move the plane so flights could resume. He said an investigation would be conducted to determine the cause of the incident.
DHL is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group.
Luis Miranda, deputy director of civil aviation for Costa Rica, said the plane had gone only about 35 miles from the airport when it requested permission to turn back from its planned flight to Guatemala City. He said the pilot and co-pilot were the only crew members aboard the plane, which was carrying only about 2½ hours worth of fuel. .
