Let us know what the method is to save green peas properly for 1 year.&nbsp; This will keep the peas fresh throughout the year.&nbsp;

<li>Boil 3 to 4 liters of water in a saucepan</li>
<li>As it heats, add 1 tablespoon salt, 2 teaspoons sugar and 1 pinch of baking soda</li>
<li>When the water starts boiling, add green peas to it and cook for 2 minutes</li>
<li>Put them in ice cold water Immediately&nbsp;</li>
<li>Now dry them well</li>
<li>It is very important to dry them so that the peas do not stick with each other and remain separated when frozen.</li>
<li>Now fill them in a zip lock bag and keep them in the freezer and use them throughout the year.&nbsp;</li>

In the video, a worker is seen adding colouring agent after cleaning the pulses. Yes, the snack is not naturally green but artificial colours are added to make it look vibrant. Later, the peas are deep fried and salt is added to them. Turns out the option is not healthy at all.
Social media users couldn&rsquo;t believe their favourite snack is made this way. "My entire childhood is ruined" was one of the comments, and another read "Is this for real?"

It is quite natural that people prefer fresh peas over frozen peas during the winter season. However, Instagrammer, Krish Ashok has shared a video from his Instagram account named, Masala Lab explaining how frozen peas are healthier as compared to the fresh ones.
He says that to prevent vegetables from getting spoilt during transportation and storage, they are plucked before getting ripe. Whereas frozen peas are plucked when they are fully ripe and full of nutrients.
Fresh peas lose all nutrients the day they are plucked, on the other hand, peas that get frozen immediately after plucking have all nutrients locked in them.
