Nearly a month after arriving in Riyadh, Neymar finally made his debut after recovering from a long term ankle injury.
The recent international break saw Neymar starting both Brazil's 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Peru under new coach Fernando Diniz.
A brace in the 5-1 triumph over Bolivia saw Neymar overtake the legendary Pele to become Brazil's top scorer with 79 goals.
The convincing win puts Al-Hilal top of the league, having registered five victories and one draw from their opening six matches.

It is definitely the defeat that has hurt me the most, which left me paralysed for ten minutes after the match, after which I burst into tears without being able to stop. Brazilian investment firm DIS has demanded a five-year jail term for the PSG star.

Brazil &amp; PSG star Neymar Jr. will stand trial in Spain next week on fraud &amp; corruption charges over his transfer to Barcelona in 2013.
Brazilian investment firm DIS is behind the actual complaint that has paved the way for the trial. DIS, who owned 40% of the rights to Neymar when he was a Santos player, has alleged it was not given its rightful cut from the player's sale to the Catalan giants.
Not just Neymar, the Spanish prosecutors have named Neymar's parents, both clubs Barcelona &amp; Santos, and their former presidents as defendants in the trial.
While DIS are gunning for a 5-year jail term for the star footballer, Spanish prosecutors want a two-year prison term for Neymar and the payment of a &euro;10 million fine. They also want a five-year jail term for former Barca President Sandro Rosell and an &euro;8.4m fine for Barcelona.
The court has said Neymar will have to appear in person for the trial on Monday, but it's unclear if he will be asked to stay for the whole hearing which could go on for a fortnight.
