In the early hours of Tuesday morning, thieves targeted the home of Bruna Biancardi, the partner of Brazilian football star Neymar. Biancardi wrote about the incident on her verified Instagram account. The house is located in Cotia, a city in the Sao Paulo metropolitan area. One of the three armed robbers, who happened to be a neighbor of Biancardi's parents, has been apprehended.
Reports indicate that the robbers were intent on locating Biancardi and her baby girl. However, she clarified on Instagram that she and her daughter no longer resided in that house.
During the incident, Biancardi's parents were bound and gagged. The assailants made off with luxury items such as purses, watches, and jewellery. Security camera footage revealed that the getaway car belonged to a neighbour. This neighbour informed the authorities that he had lent the car to his son. The 20-year-old son was soon located and confessed to the robbery.
Despite the loss of material possessions, Biancardi expressed relief that everyone involved was unharmed. Neymar also commented on the incident on his own Instagram account, though he did not provide specific details.

Star striker Neymar limped off the field with a sprain in his right ankle in the 80th minute of <a href="https://www.editorji.com/sports-news/football/fifa-world-cup-2022-richarlison-s-brace-powers-brazil-to-2-0-win-over-serbia-1669348172953">Brazil&rsquo;s 2-0 win over Serbia</a> at the Qatar World Cup 2022. After colliding with an opponent during Brazil&rsquo;s opening Group G game, the 30-year-old carried on for 11 more minutes and was then withdrawn from the turf. Informing about his injury Team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said that the extent of the injury will only be known after 48 hours. Neymar was seen in discomfort on the Selecao bench. A few viral images also show his swollen ankle.&nbsp;

Brazil forward Neymar to stand trial for corruption & fraud

Brazilian investment firm DIS has demanded a five-year jail term for the PSG star.

Brazil &amp; PSG star Neymar Jr. will stand trial in Spain next week on fraud &amp; corruption charges over his transfer to Barcelona in 2013.
Brazilian investment firm DIS is behind the actual complaint that has paved the way for the trial. DIS, who owned 40% of the rights to Neymar when he was a Santos player, has alleged it was not given its rightful cut from the player's sale to the Catalan giants.
Not just Neymar, the Spanish prosecutors have named Neymar's parents, both clubs Barcelona &amp; Santos, and their former presidents as defendants in the trial.
While DIS are gunning for a 5-year jail term for the star footballer, Spanish prosecutors want a two-year prison term for Neymar and the payment of a &euro;10 million fine. They also want a five-year jail term for former Barca President Sandro Rosell and an &euro;8.4m fine for Barcelona.
The court has said Neymar will have to appear in person for the trial on Monday, but it's unclear if he will be asked to stay for the whole hearing which could go on for a fortnight.

Messi&nbsp;lost&nbsp;estimated $22 million from his final year with Barcelona, but he still made roughly $75 million with PSG

The Argentine footballer Lionel&nbsp;Messi&nbsp;claimed the top spot&nbsp;in&nbsp;Forbes' annual ranking of the world's highest-paid athletes 2022, released on Wednesday. According to reports,&nbsp;Messi&nbsp;earned $133 million over the past 12 months.&nbsp;Cristiano&nbsp;Ronaldo and Neymar&nbsp;are the&nbsp;other two footballers on the list.
According to Forbes, 58% of&nbsp;Paris Saint-Germain&nbsp;footballer's&nbsp;income was earned from prize money, salaries and bonuses while the other $55m of his estimated income came from licensing agreements and&nbsp;sponsorship deals.
