During the talk show, Neetu Kapoor discussed her granddaughter Raha Kapoor and shared her thoughts on what she hoped Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor would learn from her marriage with Rishi Kapoor.
When Karan questioned Neetu about the one thing she wished Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor would adopt from her marriage, she replied, &lsquo;Nothing. In today's world, do what makes you happy. Each generation is different, and I can't expect them to follow the same path. They know what suits them.&rsquo;
Neetu also recounted a humorous incident involving a disagreement with Soni Razdan, Alia's mother. They had a playful &lsquo;mini battle&rsquo; over what words the baby should say. Neetu wanted the baby to say &lsquo;papa,&rsquo; while Soni insisted on &lsquo;mumma.&rsquo; Neetu jokingly mentioned her attempts to instruct the help to encourage the baby to say &lsquo;papa&rsquo; at her home.

Neetu also expressed that the name 'Raha' was a perfect fit for her granddaughter, as it brought a sense of tranquility whenever she looked at her. She explained, &lsquo;I believe this name suits her perfectly. I feel a great sense of calm when I see her. She has such a beautiful, lovely, and joyful face.&rsquo;
Alia and Ranbir welcomed Raha into their lives on November 6, 2022. When they announced her name, they mentioned, &lsquo;The name Raha (chosen by her wise and wonderful Dadi) has numerous beautiful meanings... Raha, in its purest form, signifies a divine path. In Swahili, she represents Joy, while in Sanskrit, Raha is a clan. In Bangla, it means rest, comfort, and relief, while in Arabic, it symbolizes peace, happiness, freedom, and bliss.&rsquo;
On Christmas the previous year, the couple finally introduced Raha to the world, posing with her for the first time.

Neetu revisited the final days of her late husband Rishi Kapoor and recalled the time they spent together in New York, where the actor was receiving treatment for cancer.
Neetu said, &lsquo;So Karan for me, I don't like to remember the sad part. I like to remember the good part of our relationship and of our time in New York. So New York was really sad, but we had the best year, I had the best year of my life.&rsquo;
She also noted that Rishi Kapoor was not often casual and friendly with his children, but there was a change in his demeanor during his last days.
&lsquo;Because you know Chintu Ji (Rishi Kapoor) is a very loving person. He had a lot of love in him. But there was something he never really showed his love. He always kept his distance and bullying people, not show his love. Especially with me and my children, he was like a big thing. Respect and all and with that he lost out on a lot with his children. He was never a friend to them,&rsquo; she said.
She added, &lsquo;But that year, he opened up. He showed love, went towards me also he was so lovely. We had the best time.&rsquo;
Rishi Kapoor died in 2020 in Mumbai after a long battle with leukemia. Rishi and Neetu have two kids together- Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor.
At a recent event, Ranbir talked about the formal bond between him and his father.
Ranbir said, &lsquo;He was travelling everywhere so there was not a really friendly relationship between us. We couldn&rsquo;t just sit and chat, and I really have that one regret in my life. I wish I could be friends with my father. I wish I could share more with him, which is one regret I always live with. I respected him but we were never friendly. But I&rsquo;m glad I have a daughter to love. When God takes away something, he also gives something back&rsquo;

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, who were spotted at the Mumbai airport on Thursday morning, are currently in Dubai. Veteran actor Neetu Kapoor posted a picture from a get-together in Dubai that featured the rumoured couple along with filmmaker Karan Johar, designer Manish Malhotra and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Posting the picture, Neetu wrote: &lsquo;Quite a starry night.&rsquo;

Kiara and Sidharth shared the screen for the first time in 2021 film &lsquo;Shershaah&rsquo;. They recently came together for a TV advertisement. Rumours are rife that the duo is planning to tie the knot in January next year. They recently visited Manish Malhotra at his residence further fuelling the rumours.
Kiara Advani is currently working on &lsquo;Satyaprem Ki Katha with Katha&rsquo; alongside Kartik Aaryan.
The film will release next year. She also has an untitled film with Ram Charan in the kitty. Sidharth Malhotra&rsquo;s &lsquo;Mission Majnu&rsquo;, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, will have an OTT release on January 20, 2023. He also has &lsquo;Yodha&rsquo; opposite Disha Patani and a web series titled &lsquo;Indian Police Force&rsquo;.

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt welcomed their first child- a baby girl on November 6. Paparazzi spotted Grandmother Neetu Kapoor, who was at Mumbai&rsquo;s Reliance Hospital for much of the day and questioned her about actor-daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt and the newborn baby&rsquo;s health.
The veteran actor replied that the mother-daughter was doing &lsquo;absolutely fine.' Paps then asked her what name has been decided for the baby, and she responded, 'not decided yet.&rsquo;
Director Ayan Mukerji also visited the new parents in the hospital. The 'Brahmastra' director was spotted leaving the hospital.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor made an official announcement about the arrival of their newborn through an Instagram post. Alia's post read, 'And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love, blessed and obsessed parents, love love love Ranbir and Alia'. The post received immense love from friends and fans. Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, and Rakul Preet Singh were among many to wish the couple as they embark on a new journey.
Ranbir and Alia tied the knot on April 14, 2022, and announced their pregnancy in June.

Neetu Kapoor became a grandmother after Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child, a daughter, on November 6. The actor was with the couple at Mumbai&rsquo;s Reliance hospital for their special day. When she exited the hospital in the evening, she met the paparazzi stationed outside and answered a few questions regarding the newborn.
In a video that is now going viral, a cameraperson asked Neetu what she would like to say about the birth of her granddaughter, to which she replied, &lsquo;Why do you always ask me all this? What do I say? I am very happy.&rsquo;
Another photographer then asked her whom the baby girl resembles more- Alia or Ranbir. Neetu said, &lsquo;She is too small right now, just born today. So, hard to say right now but she is very cute.&rsquo;&nbsp;
Neetu Kapoor also gave us an update on Alia&rsquo;s health post-delivery and said, &lsquo;She is ekdum first class. Everything is fine.&rsquo;
