In a major setback to Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan, the Madras High Court has denied him permission to sue actor Trisha Krishnan. In addition, the high court has also imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh on Khan for his comments on his Leo co-star Trisha. The court called his defamation suit &lsquo;a publicity stunt&rsquo;. &nbsp; While pronouncing the order, the Madras High Court said that the way Trisha and the others reacted was how any normal person would have. Mansoor Ali Khan was reprimanded earlier this month also by the court for his public behaviour. The development comes weeks after Mansoor Ali Khan announced to file a defamation suit against Trisha and many others who spoke up &amp; condemned his comments.&nbsp; Mansoor Ali Khan grabbed the headlines for his sexist comments against Trisha Krishnan where he expressed regrets about &lsquo;not having a bedroom scene&rsquo; with Trisha. Not only the actress herself, but many more super stars and known personalities lashed out at Khan for his comments. After saying he would not apologise, he issued an apology to Trisha, only to file a defamation suit later.&nbsp; In the month of November, the South Indian Artistes&rsquo; Association came out in support of Trisha and condemned Khan for his comments and asked him to issue a public apology. The matter escalated further when National Commission for Women lodged a complaint against Khan. &nbsp;

Mansoor Ali Khan has claimed he is innocent and would produce the original video and evidence against the three actors.

Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khana has been facing immense backlash for his sexist and derogatory comments against his &lsquo;Leo&rsquo; co-star Trisha. Days after issuing an apology to Trisha, the actor now plans to file a defamation case against her, actor-politician Khushbu Sundar and veteran star Chiranjeevi.
According to a News18 report, the actor claims that the video which took the internet by storm was manipulated and doctored. He has also accused Trisha, Chiranjeevi, and Khushbu of defaming and disturbing the public peace for criminal and civil purposes for a week.
He claimed that he was innocent and would produce the original video and evidence against the three actors.
For the unversed, Trisha had filed an FIR against Mansoor Ali Khan under Section 354 A (sexual harassment) and Section 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) after a clip of the actor&rsquo;s interview went viral.
In the video, he said, &lsquo;When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought that I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes, and it&rsquo;s not new to me. But these guys didn&rsquo;t even show Trisha to me on the sets during the shooting in Kashmir.&rsquo;
The actor strongly condemned the &lsquo;sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive&rsquo; comments made by Mansoor Ali Khan.
She also received support from many celebs including veteran actor Chiranjeevi.
After the Tamil Nadu Police booked Mansoor Ali Khan following the National Council for Women&rsquo;s (NCW) intervention, the actor issued an apology. Trisha has forgiven her co-star and reacted to the apology by sharing a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). She wrote, &lsquo;To err is human, to forgive is divine.&rsquo;

Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan shared a cryptic apology note for Trisha a day after he was grilled by the Chennai police in connection to the derogatory comments he made against her.
A statement from the &lsquo;Leo&rsquo; actor was posted on social media, in which he apologised to his co-star and said that he hopes to bless her at her wedding.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to his X handle on Friday to share Mansoor Ali Khan&rsquo;s statement.

Mansoor Ali Khan has been booked under Section 354 A (sexual harassment) and Section 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to outrage modesty of woman) in the case.
Mansoor Ali Khan appeared before the police on November 23 in connection with the cases registered against him for making alleged derogatory and unsavoury remarks against Trisha.
Mansoor presented himself before the All Women Police Station at Thousand Lights in Chennai for an inquiry in relation to the case.
The National Commission for Women had lodged a police complaint against the actor over a controversial video of his that went viral.
In the video, Mansoor expressed disappointment as didn&rsquo;t share bedroom scenes with Trisha in the blockbuster film &lsquo;Leo&rsquo;, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
&lsquo;When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought I would carry her to the bedroom just like I did other actresses in my earlier movies,&rsquo; Mansoor said.

After the video went viral, Trisha condemned his remarks and the NCW asked the Tamil Nadu police to take action against Mansoor.

Actor Mansoor Ali Khan, who is facing massive backlash for his misogynistic remarks against Trisha Krishnan, has refused to apologise.
Mansoor called for a press conference in Chennai on November 21 after Nadigar Sangam banned him temporarily. The film body has said that they would withdraw the ban when the actor apologises for his mistake.
He said, &lsquo;Nadigar Sangam made a mistake (by imposing a temporary ban till he apologises). When an issue like this happened, they didn&rsquo;t even ask me for an explanation. They should have called me or issued a notice asking for explanation. There should be an inquiry. But that didn&rsquo;t happen.&rsquo;
&lsquo;I will give four hours' time to Nadigar Sangam to withdraw their statement against me. They said I should apologise. Do I look like someone who will apologise? Media can write whatever they want against me. People know who I am. I have the support of Tamil people,&rsquo; he added.

Defending his comment yet again, he explained, &lsquo;What does a rape scene in cinema mean? Does it mean raping someone for real? What does murder in cinema mean? Does it mean they are murdering someone for real? Shouldn&rsquo;t you have some sense? I haven't said anything wrong. I will not apologise.&rsquo;
