The charred body of a man was found in the mountains of Lanji and Kirnapur areas, about 40 km from the Balaghat district headquarters, near the crash site, Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh told PTI in the evening.
He said efforts are on to identify the body while a search is on for the woman trainee pilot who is missing.
As per the preliminary information, the trainer aircraft had taken off from the Birsi airport in Gondia district of Maharashtra bordering Balaghat, the police officer said.

Police lobbed tear gas shells and fired in the air when an agitation held by tribals over the death of a 23-year-old woman in the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh turned violent with protesters damaging vehicles of police and attacking police personnel, an official said.
The incident occurred at Badgonda police station, about three km away from Mhow town.
Police station in-charge Dharmendra Thakur said the woman, a resident of Khargone, was living and studying at Dhamnod for the last few years.
"Yadunandan Patidar, a resident of Gawli Palasiya village, came in contact with her last year and brought her to his house here (Badgonda)," he said.
The woman died on March 15. As the news of her death reached her parents, they and members of various tribal groups gathered at the police station and staged a protest, Thakur said.
The officer said protesters blocked the traffic by placing the woman's body on the road on Wednesday evening.

"Some of them attacked policemen and damaged vehicles of police, who reacted with a mild lathi charge. However, as the mob went on a rampage, police fired about a dozen rounds in the air and also lobbed tear gas shells," he said.
Details about injuries, if any, are not available.
Police personnel are deployed in large numbers in the area and the situation is becoming normal, Thakur added.

&ldquo;Modiji is afraid of AAP as the way we have performed in Gujarat, like challenging a tiger in its den and the way people supported us..,&rdquo; Kejriwal told reporters outside the state hangar when asked about ruling BJP targeting opposition leaders in the country.
In last year&rsquo;s Gujarat elections, the BJP won a record 156 seats in the 182-member house. AAP opened its account in the state with five seats and a vote share of nearly 13 per cent.
Kejriwal along with his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann arrived in&nbsp; Bhopal to address a rally of party workers amid AAP&rsquo;s attempt to expand its base in MP, where assembly polls are due later this year. The party has declared that it would contest in all 230 constituencies in the state.
Since Independence, Kejriwal said, the Congress ruled the state for 45 years while the BJP has been at the helm for nearly 30 years. People are fed up with them as nothing happened and there was no alternative available in the state, he said.
&ldquo;Now, AAP is a viable option for them,&rdquo; said Kejriwal.
Asked about next year&rsquo;s Lok Sabha polls, he said Modi will suffer in the parliamentary elections this time.
AAP, which swept the Punjab polls last year, is buoyed up by its performance in the Madhya Pradesh urban local body polls in July-August 2022, where it claimed it had garnered 6.3 per cent of the vote share.
It had fielded 1,500 candidates for local body polls and the party managed to win the mayor's post in Singrauli in the state's Vindh region.

&nbsp;A 20-year-old man was injured when his motorcycle was hit by an SUV carrying senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Thursday in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district, police said.
The accident took place in Zirapur town, an official said.
The man's motorcycle suddenly entered Singh's cavalcade and was hit by the SUV in which the Congress leader was travelling, eye witnesses said.
Singh got down and rushed the injured man, identified as Rambabu Bagri (20), to a local hospital and after the primary treatment got him shifted to Bhopal, sources close to the Congress leader said.
Further probe was on, said Zirapur police station in-charge Mukesh Goud.
Later, talking to reporters, Singh said his vehicle was moving slowly. &ldquo;Thank God, he did not suffer serious injuries and I got him referred to Bhopal,&rdquo; he said.
After reaching Bhopal at night, Singh visited the Chirayu Hospital and Medical College to meet the injured man, sources added.&nbsp;

A 68-year-old man was found dead with his face and other upper body parts severely damaged in a suspected case of explosion of a mobile phone battery in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Monday in Badnagar town, about 50 km from the district headquarters, and forensic experts were conducting a probe into it, they said.
The deceased, identified as Dayaram Barod, was scheduled to accompany his friend to some place. But when Barod did not pick up the phone, his friend went to his house and found him dead with the upper body parts severely damaged and lying scattered, allegedly due to the explosion of a mobile phone battery, Badnagar police station in-charge Manish Mishra said.
The mobile phone pieces were also found near the body, he said.
No other explosive material was found in the house, the official said.
Forensic experts were conducting an investigation into the incident from all aspects. They were also trying to find out if the incident occurred due to a high-tension electricity line passing near the house, he said.
The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem, he added.

Dr Vimukta Sharma, principal of BM College of Pharmacy, was allegedly attacked by a former student over a mark sheet dispute. She had been admitted to a hospital with 80% burns, and could not be saved by doctors, according to news agency PTI.
The accused, a 24-year-old named Ashutosh Shrivastava was arrested on 20 February and is currently in police custody. According to the police official, the accused was earlier booked for attempted murder, but now after the death of the principal, a charge of murder is being added in the first information report (FIR).
Virde said Shrivastava told the police during his interrogation that the authorities of B M College were not handing over the marksheet of BPharm examination which he had cleared in July 2022.
However, the college management termed Shrivastava's claim as false and alleged that he has criminal tendencies. The college authorities also claimed that despite being asked to collect his marksheet repeatedly, he did not take the document.

Police have registered cases against more than 100 people following two disputes over entering temples at different places in Madhya Pradesh's Khargone district, officials said on Sunday.
One of the incidents took place on Saturday in Chhapra village under Sanawad police station limits when people reached the temple to offer prayer on the occasion of Mahashivratri, they said, adding both the sides pelted each other with stones.
Besides, a similar incident occurred on Saturday under Kasrawad police station limits in the district, the officials said.
In Chhapra village, the dispute occurred when some members belonging to the Dalit community tried to enter into the temple constructed by people of three other communities, Sub Divisional Officer of Police Vinod Dixit said.
Stones were pelted from both the sides during the incident, he said.
The official said the dispute started two days back when the Dalit community members wanted to set up a statue of Dr B R Ambedkar on a land near the temple and they also cut a tree. The district and police administration officials had later reached the spot and settled the issue, he said.

However, the Dalit community members alleged they were stopped from entering the temple on Saturday and beaten up by the other group, the official said.
Following a complaint by one Premlal, a case was registered against 17 named persons and 25 others under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Dixit said.
Based on a complaint of Ravindra Rao Maratha from another group, a case was registered under relevant IPC provisions against 33 named people and 25 others for the alleged attacked through weapons and stones by Premlal and others, he added.
In another case, a Dalit woman complained that she was not allowed to enter a temple under Kasrawad police station limits in the district, Sub Divisional Officer of Police Manohar Gawli said.
Later, the woman offered prayers at the temple under police protection, he said. A case was registered against four women and a man under provisions of the SC/ST Act and the IPC, he added.

An Indian Air Force (IAF) plane carrying 12 cheetahs from South Africa landed in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior on Saturday morning, from where they will be taken to the Kuno National Park (KNP) in Sheopur district, around 165 kms from here, and released into quarantine enclosures.
These cheetahs - seven males and five females - comprise the second set of big cats coming to the state, with the first group of eight from Namibia having been released into the KNP on September 17 last year at a function by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"A plane carrying cheetahs from South Africa landed at the Gwalior airport around 10 am," Gwalior Superintendent of Police (SP) Amit Sanghi told PTI.
After the clearance procedure in Gwalior, these cheetahs will be flown to the KNP in an IAF helicopter, another official said.

As per the plan, they will be offloaded at the KNP around 12 noon, after which MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister for Environment and Forests Bhupender Yadav would release them into quarantine bomas, he added.
These animals had embarked on a journey to their new home thousands of miles away aboard an IAF transport aircraft from the O R Tambo International Airport, Gauteng in South Africa shortly before midnight, a project participant and expert told PTI.
KNP Director Uttam Sharma said they have set up 10 quarantine bomas for South African cheetahs. In two of these facilities, two pairs of cheetahs would be kept.
"We have completed our preparations to receive the big cats," he added.
The intercontinental translocation of these fastest land animals - first from Namibia and now from South Africa - is part of the Indian government's ambitious cheetah reintroduction programme. The country's last cheetah died in Koriya district of present-day Chhattisgarh in 1947 and the species was declared extinct in 1952.
Experts said a delegation from South Africa had visited the KNP early September last year to see the arrangements at the wildlife sanctuary for housing the cheetahs.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between India and South Africa last month for the translocation of the mammals.
South Africa has donated these big cats to India. But India has to pay USD 3,000 for the capture of every cheetah to the African nation before they are translocated, said the wildlife expert.
India had planned to airlift these South African cheetahs in August last year but couldn't do so due to delay in signing a formal translocation agreement between the two countries.
PM Modi had released eight cheetahs flown in from Namibia into the KNP on September 17 last year amid a lot of fanfare, setting the ball rolling for the revival of their population in India where these distinctively spotted cat species became extinct seven decades ago.
The cheetahs from Namibia &ndash; five females and three males &ndash; are currently in hunting enclosures at the park before their full release into the wild.
Due to the delay in the MoU signing for the inter-continental translocation of these big cats, some experts had in December expressed concern over the health of the South African cheetahs as these animals have been quarantined in their home country since July 15 in anticipation of their transfer to India.
As per Indian wildlife laws, a month-long quarantine is mandatory before importing animals and they are required to be kept in isolation for another 30 days after arrival in the country.
The experts said the spotted animals' metapopulation (cheetah count in small and medium parks) in South Africa has risen to 504 from 217 in 2011.
Former Union Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh had initiated 'Project Cheetah' in 2009 under the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government with an aim to reintroduce the wild cats in India.

The University of Florida researchers who visited Bhimbetka in Madhya Pradesh, where a rare 550-million-year-old fossil Dickinsonia, a primitive marine animal was found recently, have said that reports of it being a fossil are incorrect.
They have confirmed it as a case of mistaken identity and that it is not a fossil, but a decayed imprint of a beehive.
After peer reviews, the researchers presented their findings in the Gondwana Research, a scientific journal, according to a report by The Print.
With this the age of the Bhimbetka formation is still an open question, some experts claim its less than 550 million years old, while others think is close to a billion years old.

The deaths were reported in the survey year for the country's tiger census, whose results will be announced later in 2023.
A senior forest department official said it is a &ldquo;mystery&rdquo; as to why Madhya Pradesh has recorded higher tiger deaths than the southern state though both had almost the same number of big cats as per the 2018 count.
Karnataka, home to 524 tigers as per the 2018 census, is competing with Madhya Pradesh (526) for the tag of India&rsquo;s &lsquo;tiger state&rsquo;.
The national tiger census is conducted once in every four years. The latest All India Tiger Estimation (AITE) was conducted in 2022 and its report is scheduled to be released this year, a forest department official said.
As the country eagerly awaits findings of the quadrennial count to know which state stands where in terms of tiger population, data on how many big cats India lost in the year just gone by is now available.
Madhya Pradesh lost 34 tigers in 2022, while its nearest rival for the &ldquo;tiger state&rdquo; status, Karnataka recorded the death of 15 big cats, according to data uploaded on the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) website.

The causes of these deaths were not mentioned.
The NTCA is a statutory body under the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change constituted under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, for strengthening tiger conservation.
Total tiger deaths in India in the previous year stood at 117, as per the NTCA website.
&ldquo;We (MP) have the maximum number of tigers and we take into account all the carcasses found in our state. It is a mystery for us why lesser tiger deaths were reported there (Karnataka) when the number of big cats is almost the same,&rdquo; Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) J S Chauhan told PTI when asked about the wide gap in mortality figures in the two states.
He said the average age of tigers is 12 to 18 years.
If longevity criteria are taken into account, then about 40 deaths annually should be considered natural as the state had recorded the presence of 526 tigers in the last estimation conducted in 2018, he said.
In 2021, Madhya Pradesh lost 42 tigers out of 127 fatalities recorded in the country that year.

In the CCTV footage, the hotelier hurriedly walks up to a machine at the gym, puts his hands on it and tries to rest but collapses on the floor.
Raghuvanshi was rushed to a nearby private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
Vijay Nagar police station in-charge Ravindra Gurjar confirmed Raghuvanshi&rsquo;s death at the fitness facility, but said his family has not given any formal communication to the police.
"Raghuvanshi fell unconscious after a 10-minute warm-up on Thursday," a trainer at the gym said.
