Actor Ishaan Khatter opened up about dealing with the separation of his parents Neliima Azeem and Rajesh Khattar. He said that nobody knows the full truth about what he went through as a child, but he is &lsquo;proud&rsquo; of the experiences.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ishaan said, 'I also had an elder brother, and he started doing very well for himself around the time when I was nine or 10, so he was also somebody who took care of me and us. I don&rsquo;t have any shikayat about my upbringing. I am very proud of the childhood that I lived, and I think I am the person that I am today because of what I saw, and what I made of it. They say that sometimes, character is built out of adversity, and I&rsquo;ve experienced that firsthand. A lot of people think that they know my story, but nobody really knows the life that I led growing up.'
'I am very proud of my mom, I saw her come through a lot. She&rsquo;s a survivor, she&rsquo;s a strong person, she&rsquo;s the person I look up to the most, and I have great respect for women because of what I saw her take on and conquer. My mom&rsquo;s a queen, and she deserves everything. It&rsquo;s made me who I am, and I&rsquo;m proud of that. Today, I can take challenges head on. I don&rsquo;t get intimidated by life, I don&rsquo;t get intimidated by somebody saying something, because I&rsquo;ve seen life,' he concluded.

Actor Janhvi Kapoor&rsquo;s film 'Mili' released in theatres on November 4 along with Ishaan Khatter&rsquo;s &lsquo;Phone Bhoot&rsquo;. She recently opened up about the box-office clash of her film with Ishaan Khatter&rsquo;s movie. Speaking with News18.com, the 'Roohi' actor said that she has seen the trailer of &lsquo;Phone Bhoot&rsquo; and it looks like a lot of fun. She said that she spoke with Ishaan briefly when he was about to sign the film.
&lsquo;I know a little bit about it, and it sounds like a very exciting premise,' she said.
Janhvi further added that her 'Dhadak' co-star has messaged her to wish her luck for the film and she has wished him back.&nbsp;
'Ishaan messaged me recently wishing me luck for Mili and I wished him back saying, Right back at you! I think there was an undercurrent of competitiveness . I&rsquo;m just kidding! We really wish the best for each other dil se. We started out together. A part of us will always root for each other,' she concluded.
Ishaan and Janhvi were reportedly dating during the shoot of their movie &lsquo;Dhadak&rsquo;. But later on, they called it quits for reasons that remain unknown.
'Mili', directed by Mathukutty Xavier, also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa.
This is Janhvi&rsquo;s first film with her father Boney Kapoor, who is the producer of her movie.

The much-anticipated film of Katrina Kaif, 'Phone Bhoot,' co-starring Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi is finally in theatres. Horror comedy has opened to mixed responses from both the audience as well as the critics. This Gurmmeet Singh's directorial is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's banner Excel Entertainment. Katrina Kaif's performance as a ghost and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan as ghost hunters have impressed the audience.
While a few netizens are enjoying the film and calling it 'fun', there are some who have said that the film is &lsquo;average&rsquo;.

Interestingly, the release of ‘Phone Bhoot' coincides with Katrina's film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' that released on July 15, 2011.

In 'Pippa', Ishaan plays Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta,&nbsp;a former soldier of the 45th Cavalry tank squadron, who fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.&nbsp;Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, 'Pippa' is inspired by the book 'The Burning Chaffees', written by Brigadier Mehta himself.
Produced by Ronnie Screwvala&rsquo;s&nbsp;company RSVP and Siddharth Roy Kapur&rsquo;s Roy Kapur Films, 'Pippa' also stars Mrunal Thakur&nbsp;as&nbsp;Ishaan&rsquo;s younger sister&nbsp;and Soni Razdan, who will play the role of his mother.
As Ishan&nbsp;Khatter&nbsp;kicked off the first schedule of 'Pippa'&nbsp;in Amritsar on Wednesday,&nbsp;&nbsp;Brigadier Mehta&nbsp;gave the first clap on set.
