Bollywood actor Govinda was on Wednesday discharged from Mumbai&rsquo;s CritiCare hospital, where he was admitted after experiencing disorientation and briefly losing consciousness.
The 61-year-old actor walked out of the hospital and interacted with reporters waiting outside. &ldquo;I'm good. I did excessive workout and was fatigued. Yoga-Pranayam is good... Heavy exercise is tough. I am trying to make my personality even better. I feel Yoga-Pranayam is better,&rdquo; Govinda said.
When asked about his treatment, the actor added, &ldquo;It is going on. Doctors have given me medicine.&rdquo;
Govinda was rushed to the hospital by his legal advisor and friend Lalit Bindal, who said the actor began feeling disoriented and fainted at home.
&ldquo;He felt disoriented at around 8:30 pm yesterday and became unconscious. The family then consulted the doctor, who prescribed him some medicine. But he still felt weakness. So we consulted the doctor again and on his advice, we took him to the hospital. He is now stable and resting. Doctors are monitoring him,&rdquo; Bindal told PTI.
In October last year, Govinda was also taken to CritiCare hospital after his licensed revolver allegedly misfired, causing a minor bullet injury to his knee. He was discharged three days later.
The veteran actor, who is also a member of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, is now recovering and said he plans to continue focusing on his health through balanced fitness and yoga practices.

The 61-year-old actor is now stable and undergoing tests at the CritiCare hospital, Bindal added.
"He felt disoriented at around 8:30 pm yesterday and became unconscious. The family then consulted the doctor, who prescribed him some medicine. But he still felt weakness. So we consulted the doctor again and on his advice, we took him to the hospital. He is now stable and resting. Doctors are monitoring him," Bindal told PTI.
Earlier, Bindal had said the actor fainted in the evening and was immediately taken to the CritiCare hospital.
He also shared the health update about Govinda on Instagram. "My dear and respected @govinda_herono1 has been admitted in hospital with complaints of disorientation and unconscious (sic). I pray for his speedy recovery," he posted.
In October last year, Govinda was rushed to CritiCare hospital after his licensed revolver allegedly misfired, resulting in a bullet wound to his knee. The actor, a member of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, was discharged from the hospital three days after the incident.

According to reports, Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata on October 1st morning when the accident occurred. His close aide, Shashi Sinha, explained how it happened, confirming that Govinda is now doing fine. He told Indian Express, &lsquo;He is out of danger and recovering well. The incident took place while he was putting his licensed revolver away in the almirah, and it fell to the ground. While handling the weapon, it accidentally discharged. The injury is located below the left knee, but the bullet has been removed. His daughter Tina is at the hospital with him, and he is conversing with everyone and feeling alright.&rsquo;
Govinda's daughter, Tina Ahuja, is by his side at the hospital. She informed the news portal that the actor underwent surgery to remove the bullet. Tina mentioned that Govinda will be monitored in the ICU for a day, after which the doctors will assess his condition. In a video, reporters were heard asking him about joining politics again, to which Govinda said, 'bohot acha lag raha hai (it feels good).'
"I was in politics from 2004 to 2009 and that was the 14th Lok Sabha. This is an amazing coincidence that now, after 14 years, today I have come into politics again."
I would like to thank Eknath (Shinde), my friends and everyone present here. I would pray to God so that I am able to fulfill the duties given to me," Govinda said after joining the Shinde faction of the party in Mumbai. &nbsp;
The actor had earlier contested the 2004 Lok Sabha election on a Congress ticket. At that time, he defeated BJP stalwart Ram Naik from Virar constituency.
But he quit politics in 2009 and parted ways with Congress.
The polling will be held in five-phases on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, and May 20, with all six constituencies in Mumbai voting in the fifth phase. In 2019, the polls were conducted over four phases, while in 2014, they were held in three phases. It has 48 Lok Sabha seats.

The multi-crore ponzi scam involves Solar Techno Alliance (STA-Token). The company was allegedly involved in illegally operating a pyramid-structured online Ponzi scheme under the garb of crypto investment.
As per a report by ETimes, Govinda reportedly endorsed the company's work and will be questioned regarding that.
EOW&rsquo;s DSP Sasmita Sahu said, &lsquo;We may issue summons to Govinda for appearing before the EOW for questioning or a team be sent to Mumbai for the purpose&rsquo;. He added that the actor had attended STA&rsquo;s grand function in Goa in July and promoted the company in some videos.
&lsquo;If EOW finds that the actor&rsquo;s role was limited to only endorsement of the product (STA-Token brand) as per their business agreement, then we will make him a witness in our case,&rsquo; he said.
In August, the EOW arrested the ponzi firm&rsquo;s country head Gurtej Singh and its Odisha chief Norod Das. &nbsp;An official statement by the EOW said the company had reportedly collected Rs 30 crore from 10,000 people in Odisha&rsquo;s Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Bhubaneswar.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty recently talked about actor Govinda and said that he gave blockbusters for continuous 10 years, but never got his due in the industry. He said that the actor along with David Dhawan has provided the most iconic films and would have been the biggest superstar.
Rohit Shetty, whose film &lsquo;Cirkus&rsquo; is all set to release in theatres on December 23, spoke to Pinkvilla. During a segment, he was asked to guess the highest grosser of 1993, and he promptly responded, and said, &lsquo;Aankhen.&rsquo; For the unversed, the film stars Govinda with Chunky Pandey and was directed by David Dhawan.
He further talked about Govinda and said, &lsquo;For 10 years that guy (Govinda) gave blockbusters. He and David Dhawan&ndash;like Shola Aur Shabnam, Aankhen, Raja Babu, Jodi No 1, Coolie No 1, and Haseena Maan Jaayegi, that was back-to-back. I think he didn&rsquo;t get his due otherwise he would have been the biggest superstar. Ab social media hai, ek chalti hai toh sab chilate hai. Back-to-back for ten years both (Govinda and David Dhawan) had given hits.'
