Fans of ‘Badshah’ are not happy with the big snub and are flooding the social media with comments expressing their angst and disappointment. Questions are being raised on the actor not getting any recognition at the Awards ceremony, despite being the most successful actor in 2023.

While Filmfare Awards 2024 concluded with full fanfare, but it has left fans of Shah Rukh Khan angry and disappointed. Marking a massive comeback at box office, Shah Rukh Khan delivered three big hits in 2023. His &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo;, &lsquo;Jawan&rsquo; and &lsquo;Dunki&rsquo; combinedly minted over ₹ 2,660 crore worldwide and while it is a record in itself, Shah Rukh&rsquo;s films failed to get him any Filmfare award. &nbsp;
SRK loses to Ranbir Kapoor&nbsp;
Shah Rukh Khan was nominated in the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) category for his films &lsquo;Jawan&rsquo; and &lsquo;Dunki&rsquo;. Despite being the only actor nominated for 2 films in one category, he lost the award to Ranbir Kapoor who won it for his role in &lsquo;Animal&rsquo;. Apart from losing the Best Actor award, even Shah Rukh&rsquo;s films did not manage to win any big award. &nbsp;
Fans upset with &lsquo;Jawan&rsquo; snub&nbsp;

The 69th Filmfare Awards which were held in Gujarat on Sunday, saw Shah Rukh&rsquo;s films almost out of picture. While his film &lsquo;Jawan&rsquo; received only 2 awards- &lsquo;Best Action&rsquo; and &lsquo;Best VFX&rsquo;, &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; could get only one award to singer Shilpa Rao for the song &lsquo;Besharam Rang&rsquo;. From Shah Rukh&rsquo;s least earning film &lsquo;Dunki&rsquo;, Vicky Kaushal, who was also nominated for his film &lsquo;Sam Bahadur&rsquo;, received the award for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male).&nbsp; &nbsp;

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's &lsquo;Animal&rsquo;, starring Ranbir Kapoor, grabbed attention for its plot and its record-breaking box office success. Actor Bobby Deol's impactful role as Abrar Haque sparked discussions, especially when the song &lsquo;Jamal Kudu&rsquo; accompanying his entry went viral.
Due to its social media popularity, the song was officially released upon public demand and has inspired numerous reels and videos.
At the Filmfare awards show in Gujarat, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt showcased their dancing skills to &lsquo;Jamal Kudu.&rsquo; Alia spontaneously joined Ranbir in performing the hook step, both with glasses on their heads. Ranbir not only danced with Alia but also shared a sweet kiss with her onstage. The couple received top honours at the event.
Neetu Kapoor, who was overwhelmed with Raha&rsquo;s parents winning top awards at the event, took to social media to congratulate the couple and wrote, &lsquo;I secretly prayed n wished a repeat of 2019 ( Sanju razi ) so happy it happened again !!! Congratulations both of you. proud very very proud.&rsquo;
&lsquo;Animal&rsquo; has recorded a worldwide box office collection of Rs 904.93 cr, as per Bollywood Hungama. Recently, Ranbir spoke about the film&rsquo;s success and also addressed the criticism it received.
&lsquo;I want to thank all of you for being here today to celebrate Animal. It is a film that a section of people had an issue with but I feel the kind of love, success and the numbers (it has received) proves that nothing goes beyond the love for a movie. Nothing goes beyond movies,&rsquo; Ranbir said, as reported by PTI.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is teaming up with Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt for a new film titled &lsquo;Love and War&rsquo;.
Alia Bhatt also has &lsquo;Jigra&rsquo; in the pipeline. The film, directed by Vasan Bala, will be released in theatres later this year. It also stars Vedang Raina and Aditya Nanda in pivotal roles.

The event, which was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Ayushmann Khurrana, featured performances by Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kartik Aaryan among others.
