After a long wait, the actor-filmmaker took to social media to share that he is on a location scout for the film. Sharing a photo of him in a dessert, he wrote, &lsquo;Searching for gold #locationscout #jeelezaraa #rajasthan.&rsquo;
As soon as he shared the post, netizens could not contain their excitement. A fan requested Farhan to speed up the process, while a few were disappointed that the director has not started working on Don 3 yet.
Farhan Akhtar announced &lsquo;Jee Le Zaraa&rsquo; on the 20th anniversary of &lsquo;Dil Chahta Hai&rsquo; in 2021. Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that the film has been shelved after Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt entered motherhood in 2022.

Actor-director Farhan shared a video featuring the &lsquo;Don&rsquo; theme music and graphic footage of the first film.
Taking to Instagram, Farhan wrote 'Happy birthday Don. 16 years and counting (sic).'

OTTplay Awards: The OTTplay Awards were held last night (September 10) with several Bollywood celebrities in attendance. &nbsp;The inaugural pan- India awards aim to celebrate the excellence of OTT films, shows, actors, and filmmakers, from across the nation. These awards appreciate the efforts of those who have mesmerized us with their performances and kept us hooked on to the binge-worthy entertainment throughout the year. The awards had nominees from various platforms in different languages.&nbsp;
OTTplay Awards were selected by a renowned jury from the film fraternity and also veteran journalists. Filmmakers Aanand L Rai, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, and actors Divya Dutta and Adil Hussain were part of the jury. Shows and films released between June 1, 2021, and July 31, 2022, were eligible for the awards this year.&nbsp;
