On Wednesday, they also hosted a qawwali night. The wedding festivities started with Haldi ceremony, followed by mehendi and sangeet.
Following this, a reception will be held in Fawad's hometown Bareilly on March 19th.

Actor Swara Bhasker and political activist Fahad Ahmad, who registered their marriage a few weeks ago, are celebrating their marital union. After a qawwali night on Wednesday, the couple will be hosting a reception in Delhi tonight.
Besides their family and close friends, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor and Richa Chadha are likely to attend the event.
Following this, Swara Bhasker will be visiting her husband&rsquo;s hometown Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. A reception will be held there as well for the groom&rsquo;s family on March 19th.
Earlier, the couple was seen having a gala time during their haldi, mehendi, and sangeet ceremony. Pictures and videos from the wedding festivities were shared by Swara on her social media handles and are now going viral on social media.
Swara announced her court marriage with Fahad Ahmad on February 16. She had shared a video on Instagram which showed their relationship&rsquo;s journey. Actor Swara Bhasker and activist-politician Fahad Ahmad&rsquo;s pre-wedding festivities are underway. After a haldi, mehendi, and sangeet ceremony, the couple hosted a Carnatic night. Taking to social media, Swara shared several pictures and videos from the event. She looked beautiful in a golden and maroon saree with traditional jewellery. In a picture, the actor is also seen posing with her husband Fahad Ahmad, who donned a cream kurta pyjama and a beige Nehru jacket.
Sharing the pictures on her Instagram stories, she wrote, &lsquo;Channelling Telugu Brides&rsquo;.
She also shared a video of Carnatic vocalist Sudha Raghuraman performing on stage and wrote, &lsquo;The amazing @sudharaghuraman20 making our wedding celebrations magical #SwaadAnusaar.&rsquo;
