<p>A man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly selling counterfeit tickets to a concert featuring actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh by creating a fraudulent website under the name of Zomato.</p>

<p>The situation came to light when the food delivery service Zomato lodged a complaint on September 17 at the Cyber Crime police station located in South Gurugram.</p>
<p>The complaint detailed that unauthorized websites were falsely operating under Zomato's name to sell concert tickets, a task assigned exclusively to the company.</p>
<p>Following the complaint, a case was initiated under the relevant legal provisions at the Gurugram Police Station.</p>
<p>Inspector Naveen Kumar spearheaded the investigation, which led to Nitin's subsequent arrest.</p>
<p>During interrogation, Nitin admitted to orchestrating the sale of the fake tickets via a fraudulent website. Sandeep Kumar, Gurugram Police Spokesperson, explained that the investigation included an analysis of Nitin's bank transactions, which revealed the transfer of Rs 7,998 &mdash; equivalent to Rs 3,999 per ticket &mdash; that was then expended by the account holder.</p>
<p>Further insights from an officer familiar with the case suggested that Nitin edited concert tickets for resale. After confessing, authorities plan to present him in city court to request his custody for extended questioning. The investigation remains active, with additional actions being considered as warranted by the findings.</p>

<p>"He lived a very simple life. If I look at the journey of his life, it was so simple. Even if someone talked ill about him, he never reverted in the same manner. In politics, it's the toughest thing to avoid," Dosanjh remarked.</p>
<p>He also compared the behavior of politicians in India to that of children, emphasizing that Singh&rsquo;s ability to stay calm was something everyone could learn from.</p>
<p>"Have you ever seen those Lok Sabha sessions? Our politicians fight as if they are nursery kids... But something that we should learn from Dr Manmohan Singh ji is that he never responded back in the same manner," he added.</p>
<p>Singh, who was credited with steering India through significant economic reforms, passed away at the age of 92. Dosanjh also quoted a line often said by Singh, emphasizing the power of silence.</p>
<p>"He would often say 'Hazaaron jawabon se meri khamoshi acchi, na jaane kitne sawalon ki aabroo dhak leti hai' ('My silence is better than a thousand answers, it has saved the grace of many questions') and it is something the youth needs to learn from him, even I do. We should focus on our goals even if people speak worst about us and try to distract us," Dosanjh shared.</p>

<p>Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) has advised singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, set to perform here on Saturday, to refrain from singing alcohol-themed songs during his live show, citing their adverse impact on children of impressionable age.</p>
<p>The advisory issued by the CCPCR chairperson Shipra Bansal on Thursday, specifically mentioned songs like 'Patiala Peg', '5 Tara', and 'Case' etc, cautioning against even altered versions that promote alcohol, drugs or violence.</p>
<p>"Avoid performing the songs i.E. Patiala Peg, 5 Tara, Case etc, even with twisted words in which alcohol, drugs and violence are promoted. These songs affect the children of impressionable age," the advisory read.</p>
<p>This follows a similar directive issued last month by the Telangana government during Dosanjh's live show in Hyderabad, where he was advised against promoting alcohol and drugs. The notice also restricted from inviting children on stage due to loud sounds and flashing lights.</p>
<p>The singer began the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour from Delhi in October this year.</p>
<p>In the Chandigarh advisory, the CCPCR chairperson said, "It has come to our notice that Diljit Dosanjh is going to perform in his live show scheduled for December 14, at Exhibition Ground, Sector-34, Chandigarh."</p>
<p>"After going through the representation received by the Commission, the CCPCR has decided to issue the following advisory in the best interest of the children," it said.</p>
<p>The advisory noted that as per the World Health Organization's (WHO) report, adults should not be exposed to sound with a peak pressure level above 140db (decibel).</p>
<p>"For children, the level is reduced to 120 dB. It is advisable to not invite children on stage during the live show where peak sound pressure level is above 120db which is harmful for children," the advisory said.</p>
<p>The commission's advisory also asked to ensure that people aged below 25 years are not served alcohol as it is which is punishable under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and other provisions of law.</p>
<p>"You are therefore requested to comply with the advisory issued by the commission in the best interest of children," it said, addressing the singer, event organisers and concerned authorities.</p>
<p>A copy of the advisory has also been forwarded to the Chandigarh Excise and Taxation Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police, among others for necessary action.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, a delegation led by Chandigarh BJP's former president Arun Sood met the Deputy Commissioner here on Wednesday demanding a change in venue for the concerts of Dosanjh and Punjabi rapper A.P Dhillon, scheduled for December 14 and 21, respectively.</p>
<p>Sood cited that a recent event at the Sector 34 ground here by rapper-singer Karan Aujla had led to traffic congestion which caused inconvenience for residents.</p>
<p>The delegation demanded that the upcoming concerts be shifted from Sector 34 to Sector 25 rally grounds to avoid inconvenience and hardships for locals.</p>
<p>Arun Sood said, "There has been a lot of anguish among residents and businessmen of Chandigarh, especially in sector 34 and surrounding sectors after the recent music show of Punjabi singer Karan Aujla at the exhibition ground."</p>
<p>He said that locals and businessmen of Chandigarh were affected by the rush of thousands of people, and their vehicles choking the city.</p>
<p>"We are not against the music concerts in the city, but our only concern is the venue," Sood said, adding that he himself is a big fan of Punjabi artists and music.</p>

<p>After wrapping up his Europe tour, actor-musician Diljit Dosanjh is bringing his highly anticipated Dil-Luminati tour to India. Following his European journey, Diljit will head to Abu Dhabi on November 9 for the Middle East segment of the tour.</p>
<p>The India leg of the Dil-Luminati tour begins in Delhi on October 26. Diljit will perform across 10 cities over the course of two months, with shows in Hyderabad (November 15), Ahmedabad (November 17), Lucknow (November 22), Pune (November 24), Kolkata (November 30), Bangalore (December 6), Indore (December 8), Chandigarh (December 14), and Guwahati (December 29).</p>
<p>Tickets for the India tour have already seen high demand. Pre-sale tickets for HDFC Bank Pixel Cardholders became available on September 10, with nearly 100,000 tickets selling out within 15 minutes.</p>
<p>Ticket prices ranged from Rs 1499 for the Silver Area to Rs 5999 for the Golden Area. Fan pits were priced between Rs 9999 and Rs 12999, with early bird discounts offered to some buyers.</p>
<p>General ticket sales will open on Thursday at 1 pm, available through Zomato LIVE.</p>

<p>Hitting back at the allegations, Diljit Dosanjh&rsquo;s manager Sonali said in a statement to News 18 that they never contacted the people who are peddling false narratives. &ldquo;Our official team never contacted Rajat Batta or Manpreet Toor who are presenting false narratives on social media. Rajat and Manpreet were not part of the Dil-Luminati Tour in any way,&rdquo; she said. &nbsp;</p>

Desi Dance as an industry has become a lifeblood for artists and do a significant part in the entire ecosystem of the industry... while its choreography, stage performances, music videos, reels, to even promoting songs... It&rsquo;s an essential part of production and it&rsquo;s really disappointing to see an artist of this caliber cut corners by stepping on throats of Desi Dancer industry and continue to attribute to that culture.&rdquo; &ldquo;Diljit, we are very happy for your success, but your dancers should have been paid and been a part of the production budget,&rdquo; the choreographer added. &nbsp;</p>
