<p>Actor Ranveer Singh shared the music video on Instagram on Wednesday, calling it &ldquo;the biggest collab of 2025.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Earlier, the makers had released the romantic track &lsquo;Gehra Hua&rsquo;, crooned by Arijit Singh, which showcased the on-screen chemistry between Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Speaking about the film, Ranveer said in a press note, &ldquo;(The Wrath of God) We wanted to create a feature presentation that's at par with any film in the world. Our attempt was to level up in every aspect of the cinematic process to create a film that we as Indians can be proud of.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the green signal to the Ranveer-starrer spy thriller after addressing concerns raised by the parents of Ashoka Chakra and Sena Medal awardee Major Mohit Sharma. <br><br>The CBFC clarified that the film is entirely fictional, with no direct or indirect resemblance to Major Sharma&rsquo;s life. It also highlighted that the film carries an explicit disclaimer stating that all characters, events, and storylines are fictitious and do not relate to any real persons, living or deceased.</p>
<p>Directed and written by Aditya Dhar, the spy-action thriller stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, Dhurandhar is slated for a theatrical release on December 5, 2025.</p>

<p>Cinema veteran Naseeruddin Shah on Monday defended Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh amid backlash over Pakistani actor Hania Aamir's role in "Sardaar Ji 3", saying casting is not the actor-musician&rsquo;s responsibility.</p>
<p>The row began last week after Dosanjh shared the trailer of "Sardaar Ji 3", which made its debut in overseas territories on June 27 and skipped release in India.</p>
<p>Many social media users have called for a ban on Dosanjh, while trade unions like the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) and the Federation of Western lndia Cine Employees (FWICE) have criticised the Punjabi actor-musician for collaborating with Aamir in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack.</p>
<p>Shah, who will feature alongside Dosanjh in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's next film, shared a post on his official Facebook page, saying that he firmly stands with the actor on the issue.</p>
<p>The veteran actor, known for taking a stand on pertinent issues, said if someone has to be blamed for casting Aamir in the movie, then it should be the film's director.</p>
<p>"I STAND FIRMLY WITH DILJIT. The dirty tricks deptt of the Jumla Party has been awaiting a chance to attack him. They think they&rsquo;ve got it at last. He was not responsible for the casting of the film; the director was.</p>
<p>"But no one knows who he is, whereas Diljit is known the world over, and he agreed to the cast because his mind is not poisoned," Shah wrote.</p>
<p>"Sardaar Ji 3" is helmed by Amar Hundal and also stars Neeru Bajwa.</p>
<p>Shah further said he has close relatives and friends in Pakistan and no one can stop him from meeting them.</p>
<p>&ldquo;What these goons want is to put an end to personal interaction between the people of India and Pakistan. I have close relatives and some dear friends there and no one can stop me from meeting them or sending them love whenever I feel like it. And my response to those who will say 'Go to Pakistan' is 'GO TO KAILASA'," he wrote.</p>
<p>Imtiaz Ali, who earlier directed Dosanjh in the critically-acclaimed 2024 movie "Amar Singh Chamkila", came out in support of the actor at an event last week.</p>
<p>"Since I know Diljit, I can say that us mein deshbhakti ka jazbaa poora bhara hua hai (He is a patriot at heart). He is a son of the soil. You can see at all his concerts, he shows up with the Indian flag.</p>
<p>"He is not a guy who fakes things... No one asked him to do it. At the end of all his concerts, he says, "Main hoon Punjab", with the Indian flag. I don't know the details, but casting someone isn't the decision of the actor. I don't know how it went, but I know that uske andar desh prem bahut zyada hai (He loves his country too much)," Ali said.</p>
<p>In an interview with the BBC Asian Network last week, Dosanjh defended the decision to release "Sardaar Ji 3" in overseas territories. He also said when he signed the movie, there was no trouble between India and Pakistan.</p>
<p>Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which claimed 26 lives. In retaliation, the Indian armed forces carried out strikes on nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on May 7, in an operation codenamed Operation Sindoor.</p>
<p>In the aftermath, social media accounts of many Pakistani actors, including Aamir, Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, were withheld in India.</p>
<p>Many trade organisations also reiterated their call for a ban on Pakistani artists in the Indian film industry.</p>

In retaliation, the Indian armed forces carried out strikes on nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on May 7, in an operation codenamed Operation Sindoor.</p>

<p>The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a sharp condemnation of actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, producers Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu, and director Amar Hundal over the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in their upcoming film Sardaarji 3.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The film has sparked major controversy for allegedly violating an industry-wide ban on Pakistani artists and provoking national sentiment amid heightened cross-border tensions.</p>
<p>In a strongly worded statement, FWICE called upon top government authorities&mdash;including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and Information &amp; Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur&mdash;to take immediate and strict action against the filmmakers.</p>
<p>In its letter to the Prime Minister, FWICE wrote: "We, the undersigned office bearers of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), representing scores of dedicated workers who form the backbone of India's film and television industry, write with deep outrage and unwavering conviction over an act that not only defies the laws and directives of our country but insults the soul of our nation."</p>
<p>The body accused the filmmakers of defying national sentiment by casting Hania Aamir, who it claimed has previously spoken against India. "Daljit Dosanjh, Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and Director Amar Hundal, the public personalities enjoying the privileges of Indian citizenship, have committed an unpardonable act by hiring Pakistani actress Ms. Hania Aamir in their upcoming film 'Sardaar Ji 3'. This decision is not a mere creative choice -- it is a willful affront to the sovereignty, dignity, and security of India," the letter states.</p>
<p>The federation went on to allege that Aamir has used her platform to mock India and justify terror attacks. "Hania Aamir is not merely a foreign artist. She is a vocal propagandist against India, who has used her platform to mock our armed forces, abuse India publicly, and shamelessly justify Pakistan's terror acts post Operation Sindoor. Her inclusion in any Indian film is nothing short of an insult to every Indian citizen, every martyr, and every family affected by cross-border terrorism."</p>
<p>FWICE also emphasized her repeated online conduct, stating: "Ms. Hania Aamir has, time and again, abused her platform to spread venom against India, glorify terrorist forces, demean our armed forces, and mock our national tragedies. Her association with any Indian project is not just insensitive -- it is an act of open provocation against our people and our country."</p>
<p>Referring to the filmmakers&rsquo; decision despite these accusations, the statement added: "That Daljit Dosanjh, Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and Director Amar Hundal, fully aware of her background and in brazen disregard of official government directives and industry-wide bans, chose to cast her, only proves where their loyalties lie. Their actions are a gross betrayal of the nation that gave them fame, fortune, and identity. It is a direct insult to every soldier who defends our borders, every family mourning a martyr, and every citizen who stands proudly under the Indian flag. We therefore demand, without equivocation, that the Government of India treat this as a serious breach."</p>
<p>FWICE further called for harsh measures: "We respectfully urge that their passports be revoked without delay, and that they be permanently barred from availing any rights, privileges, or representation associated with Indian citizenship and national identity."</p>
<p>The organization also pointed to the timing of the controversy, coming just weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 and India&rsquo;s Operation Sindoor on May 7. "This act of theirs is not only a direct defiance of FWICE's official ban on Pakistani artists but also a shameful betrayal of our country and its people, especially at a time when our nation is mourning the brutal murder of innocent Indian tourists in Pahalgam by Pakistan-backed terrorists."</p>
<p>Despite being aware of these developments and the industry-wide ban, the filmmakers moved forward with the casting. "Their actions clearly reveal where their loyalties lie -- not with India, not with Indian cinema, and certainly not with the people of this country," the federation alleged.</p>
<p>FWICE has also approached the Ministry of Information &amp; Broadcasting and the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), demanding a complete ban on the film&rsquo;s release in India. According to the federation, authorities have now refused to allow the film to be released domestically. "We are grateful that the authorities have respected our stance and the sentiments of millions of Indians and have officially refused to allow the release of this film on Indian soil."</p>
<p>Reiterating its warning, FWICE added: "Let this serve as a final and stern warning: Any Indian filmmaker or artist who collaborates with Pakistani nationals will be treated as complicit in promoting anti-India narratives."</p>
<p>The organization has now urged all industry bodies and platforms to distance themselves from the project. "We now urge and expect all Producers' Associations, Film Federations, OTT Platforms, Exhibitors, and Distributors across the country to immediately sever all ties with Daljit Dosanjh, Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and Director Amar Hundal. They have chosen to align themselves with the enemy -- and there is no place in the Indian film industry for such individuals. This is not just a call for boycott -- this is a call for national solidarity."</p>
<p>In a separate communication, FWICE has requested the CBFC chairperson to withhold certification of Sardaarji 3 due to the presence of Pakistani artists.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh announced on Instagram that Sardaarji 3 will release overseas on June 27. Sharing the trailer, he captioned the post: "Sardaar Ji 3 releasing 27th June OVERSEAS only. FADH LAO BHOOND DIAN LATTAN."</p>

<p>Following the complaint, a case was initiated under the relevant legal provisions at the Gurugram Police Station.</p>
<p>Inspector Naveen Kumar spearheaded the investigation, which led to Nitin's subsequent arrest.</p>
<p>During interrogation, Nitin admitted to orchestrating the sale of the fake tickets via a fraudulent website. Sandeep Kumar, Gurugram Police Spokesperson, explained that the investigation included an analysis of Nitin's bank transactions, which revealed the transfer of Rs 7,998 &mdash; equivalent to Rs 3,999 per ticket &mdash; that was then expended by the account holder.</p>
<p>Further insights from an officer familiar with the case suggested that Nitin edited concert tickets for resale. After confessing, authorities plan to present him in city court to request his custody for extended questioning. The investigation remains active, with additional actions being considered as warranted by the findings.</p>

<p>He also compared the behavior of politicians in India to that of children, emphasizing that Singh&rsquo;s ability to stay calm was something everyone could learn from.</p>
<p>"Have you ever seen those Lok Sabha sessions? Our politicians fight as if they are nursery kids... But something that we should learn from Dr Manmohan Singh ji is that he never responded back in the same manner," he added.</p>
<p>Singh, who was credited with steering India through significant economic reforms, passed away at the age of 92. Dosanjh also quoted a line often said by Singh, emphasizing the power of silence.</p>
<p>"He would often say 'Hazaaron jawabon se meri khamoshi acchi, na jaane kitne sawalon ki aabroo dhak leti hai' ('My silence is better than a thousand answers, it has saved the grace of many questions') and it is something the youth needs to learn from him, even I do. We should focus on our goals even if people speak worst about us and try to distract us," Dosanjh shared.</p>
<p>He concluded by bowing his head in respect to the man who dedicated his life to serving his country.</p>
<p>&ldquo;Today, I bow my head in front of a man who loved his country and spent his life serving it,&rdquo; Dosanjh said.</p>

<p>The advisory issued by the CCPCR chairperson Shipra Bansal on Thursday, specifically mentioned songs like 'Patiala Peg', '5 Tara', and 'Case' etc, cautioning against even altered versions that promote alcohol, drugs or violence.</p>

<p>Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR) has advised singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, set to perform here on Saturday, to refrain from singing alcohol-themed songs during his live show, citing their adverse impact on children of impressionable age.</p>
<p>The advisory issued by the CCPCR chairperson Shipra Bansal on Thursday, specifically mentioned songs like 'Patiala Peg', '5 Tara', and 'Case' etc, cautioning against even altered versions that promote alcohol, drugs or violence.</p>
<p>"Avoid performing the songs i.E. Patiala Peg, 5 Tara, Case etc, even with twisted words in which alcohol, drugs and violence are promoted. These songs affect the children of impressionable age," the advisory read.</p>
<p>This follows a similar directive issued last month by the Telangana government during Dosanjh's live show in Hyderabad, where he was advised against promoting alcohol and drugs. The notice also restricted from inviting children on stage due to loud sounds and flashing lights.</p>
<p>The singer began the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour from Delhi in October this year.</p>
<p>In the Chandigarh advisory, the CCPCR chairperson said, "It has come to our notice that Diljit Dosanjh is going to perform in his live show scheduled for December 14, at Exhibition Ground, Sector-34, Chandigarh."</p>
<p>"After going through the representation received by the Commission, the CCPCR has decided to issue the following advisory in the best interest of the children," it said.</p>
<p>The advisory noted that as per the World Health Organization's (WHO) report, adults should not be exposed to sound with a peak pressure level above 140db (decibel).</p>
<p>"For children, the level is reduced to 120 dB. It is advisable to not invite children on stage during the live show where peak sound pressure level is above 120db which is harmful for children," the advisory said.</p>
<p>The commission's advisory also asked to ensure that people aged below 25 years are not served alcohol as it is which is punishable under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and other provisions of law.</p>
<p>"You are therefore requested to comply with the advisory issued by the commission in the best interest of children," it said, addressing the singer, event organisers and concerned authorities.</p>
<p>A copy of the advisory has also been forwarded to the Chandigarh Excise and Taxation Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police, among others for necessary action.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, a delegation led by Chandigarh BJP's former president Arun Sood met the Deputy Commissioner here on Wednesday demanding a change in venue for the concerts of Dosanjh and Punjabi rapper A.P Dhillon, scheduled for December 14 and 21, respectively.</p>
<p>Sood cited that a recent event at the Sector 34 ground here by rapper-singer Karan Aujla had led to traffic congestion which caused inconvenience for residents.</p>
<p>The delegation demanded that the upcoming concerts be shifted from Sector 34 to Sector 25 rally grounds to avoid inconvenience and hardships for locals.</p>
<p>Arun Sood said, "There has been a lot of anguish among residents and businessmen of Chandigarh, especially in sector 34 and surrounding sectors after the recent music show of Punjabi singer Karan Aujla at the exhibition ground."</p>
<p>He said that locals and businessmen of Chandigarh were affected by the rush of thousands of people, and their vehicles choking the city.</p>
<p>"We are not against the music concerts in the city, but our only concern is the venue," Sood said, adding that he himself is a big fan of Punjabi artists and music.</p>

<p>Though they never crossed paths, Diljit confessed that Ratan Tata had left an everlasting mark on his life&mdash;proving that legends don't need to meet you to make an impact!</p>
<p>&lsquo;You all know about Ratan Tata. He has passed away. This is my small tribute to him. Today, I feel it is important to take his name because his life &mdash; he has always worked hard. Whatever I have heard and read of him, I have never seen him speak anything wrong about anyone,&rsquo; Diljit said in Punjabi.</p>

Renowned for his visionary leadership that took Tata Group to new heights and his philanthropic efforts, Ratan Tata was a beloved figure across India.</p>
<p>While his connection with Bollywood was limited to co-producing the film Aetbaar with Amitabh Bachchan and attending events with Bollywood stars, many in the industry remembered him fondly after the news of his passing. <p>The Punjabi superstar has added two more shows to his Dil-Luminati tour in India. Jaipur, which was notably missing from the original lineup, is now part of the tour&mdash;proving that fan complaints really do make a difference!</p>
<p>The promoters of Diljit's Dil-Luminati tour revealed two additional shows&mdash;one in Delhi on October 27 and another in Jaipur on November 3.</p>
<p>Diljit confirmed the news on his Instagram Stories, adding that tickets will go live on Wednesday, October 9.</p>
<p>The singer will also perform in Delhi on October 26. Although he had hinted at more shows in Delhi and Jaipur back in September, the exact dates were only announced recently.</p>
<p>Tickets for Diljit's Dil-Luminati tour went live on September 10, and the overwhelming demand was clear, with most shows selling out within minutes.</p>

<p>The tour kicks off in Delhi on October 26, followed by a second show on October 27, Jaipur on November 2, Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17, Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, Kolkata on November 30, Bengaluru on December 6, Indore on December 8, Chandigarh on December 14, and concludes in Guwahati on December 29.</p>
<p>Before heading to India, Diljit took his vibrant performances across Europe, with shows held from September 9 to October 2. Fans in cities like Paris, London, Dublin, and Amsterdam were treated to unforgettable concerts. Earlier in April, Diljit made history as the first Punjabi artist to perform at Vancouver's BC Place Stadium.
