The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted searches at several locations in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh as part of its investigations in the Delhi car bomb blast case. Various digital devices and other incriminating materials were seized during the searches conducted at the premises of several accused and suspects, a statement issued by the federal probe agency said.
A total of eight locations were searched in Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama and Awantipora districts of J&amp;K, and one location in Lucknow, it said. On November 26 and 27, the NIA had conducted extensive searches at the premises of the prime accused, Dr Muzammil Ganaie and Dr Shaheen Saeed, in the Al Falah University complex and other places in Faridabad, Haryana.
A huge quantity of cash, foreign currency, gold and other incriminating materials were seized during those searches, and the same are being minutely examined to unravel the conspiracy that culminated in the bombing, the NIA said. The anti-terror probe agency has arrested seven key accused so far in the case.
The NIA teams are questioning the arrested accused while continuing to pursue various leads in connection with the November 10 blast which took place outside the Red Fort in Delhi, killing 15 people. "NIA continues to work closely with various state police forces to track and arrest every member of the terrorist module involved in the bomb attack," the statement said.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out raids at eight locations in Pulwama, Shopian and Kulgam districts of Kashmir in connection with a "white-collar" terror module that was behind a car blast near Delhi's Red Fort, officials said here.
The NIA teams conducted searches at the residence of Moulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagay in Shopian, officials said. Wagay has emerged as the mastermind of the radicalisation and recruitment of the 'white-collar' terror module busted early last month.
He was arrested by police in October, and the NIA took him into custody last month after taking over the probe into the car blast that left 15 people dead and several others injured.
Raids were also carried out at Koil, Chandgam, Malangpora and Samboora areas of Pulwama district, officials said, adding these locations were linked to people associated with the Delhi car blast case.

The Enforcement Directorate conducted early morning raids at Al Falah University in Faridabad and multiple Delhi-NCR locations as part of its probe into alleged terror financing linked to the Red Fort blast case.

The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday conducted simultaneous searches in Delhi-NCR against the trustees and promoters of Al Falah University of Faridabad, the varsity central to the Red Fort area car blast case, officials said.
Multiple teams of the federal probe agency raided at least 25 premises of the Al Falah trust and University establishment since 5:15 am, they said.
Teams of the agency raided an office location in Delhi's Okhla area with a security cordon being provided by the police and paramilitary forces.
Fifteen persons have been killed in the blast that took place on November 10 near the iconic monument in Delhi, and the role of a number of doctors linked to the University and in Kashmir is under the scanner of the anti-terror probe agencies.
"The operation forms part of an ongoing investigation into financial irregularities, use of shell companies, accommodation entities and money laundering. The role of Al-Falah Trust and related entities is under investigation," an ED official said.
The official said "key" personnel overseeing finance and administration of the trust and the University have also been covered in the raids.
The agency has taken cognisance of the first information reports filed by the NIA and the Delhi Police in the case. Till now, the NIA has arrested two persons, stated to be the alleged close aides of "suicide bomber" Dr Umar Nabi.
At least nine shell (dummy) companies linked to the group, all registered at a single address, are under the examination of the ED, according to the officials.
Preliminary findings point to multiple "risk" indicators consistent with shell-company behaviour like no physical presence or meaningful utility consumption at declared places of business and common mobile number and email across various companies and accounts.
The ED investigators have also found absence of EPFO/ESIC filings inconsistent with reported scale of operations and overlapping of directors/signatories and weak KYC trails across entities.
Instances of minimal salary disbursal through banking channels and absence of HR (human resource) records, apart from synchronised incorporation patterns and common contact coordinates across firms, have been detected at the varsity, the officials said.
In addition, prima facie discrepancies have been noted in claims regarding UGC and NAAC recognition, which indicate alleged non-compliance to norms established for educational institutions, the officials said.
The Al Falah varsity is located in the Dhouj area of Haryana's Faridabad district, and it is a medical college-cum-hospital.

A week after the deadly car blast near Delhi&rsquo;s iconic Red Fort, which claimed at least 14 lives and injured over 20, a chilling self-recorded video of the suicide bomber, Dr Umar un Nabi, has emerged, offering a rare glimpse into the radicalised mind behind the attack.
In the video, Dr Umar, speaking fluent English with a measured accent, discusses the concept of suicide bombing, which he describes as &ldquo;very misunderstood.&rdquo; He insists that what is commonly labelled a &ldquo;suicide bombing&rdquo; is actually a &ldquo;martyrdom operation&rdquo; in Islam.
&ldquo;One of the very misunderstood concepts is the concept of what has been labelled as suicide bombing. It is a martyrdom operation... known in Islam. Now, there are multiple contradictions; there are multiple arguments that have been brought against it,&rdquo; he says.&nbsp;
He explains that a &ldquo;martyrdom&rdquo; operation is when a person assumes they will die at a specific place and time, acting against the natural presumption of death. In his case, he adds, &ldquo;we don&rsquo;t have the situation,&rdquo; and cautions, &ldquo;Don't fear death.&rdquo;
Investigators believe the November 10 blast, which ripped through a busy street near the historic Red Fort, was accidental and that Dr Umar had planned a larger-scale suicide bombing in the future. The force of the explosion shattered shopfronts and caused panic across the Old Delhi area, one of the most crowded parts of the capital.&nbsp;
The video also makes it clear that the attack had been carefully planned, negating earlier speculation that the blast may have been triggered inadvertently during transportation of explosives.
Dr Umar, a doctor by profession, was the most radicalised member of the so-called &ldquo;white collar&rdquo; Faridabad terror module that carried out the attack. The module, allegedly linked to the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist group, reportedly included nine to ten members, among them five to six doctors. These individuals used their positions at the tainted Al-Falah University to procure chemicals and other materials necessary for explosives.
Investigators believe Dr Umar recorded the video as a means to brainwash others, demonstrating the methodical and deeply radicalised mindset of the bomber. His articulate discussion of suicide bombing and martyrdom reveals that he had reflected extensively on these subjects, presenting a calm and composed fa&ccedil;ade while justifying a heinous act.

As the probe into the deadly Delhi blast intensifies, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has uncovered an even more sinister terror conspiracy, revealing that the white-collar terror module behind the attack had planned to weaponise drones and develop rocket-style explosives before eventually resorting to a suicide car bomb.
Investigators said the group initially intended to carry out rocket bomb attacks across Delhi and other high-security zones, modifying drone technology to create a rocket-based explosive delivery system capable of causing large-scale casualties and panic&mdash;tactics commonly employed by outfits such as Hamas and ISIS.
The plot has drawn parallels with the Hamas attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, during which drones were used as a primary weapon of disruption and destruction.
According to sources, the terrorists attempted to create powerful drones fitted with large batteries to carry heavier bombs and cameras, planning to fly a weaponised drone over a crowded area for maximum casualties.
Many nations have been preparing for such drone-based threats, and India too has been strengthening its drone strike and anti-drone units at scale.
The NIA discovered the magnitude of this threat following two major arrests made within 48 hours.
One key suspect, Jasir Bilal Wani, alias Danish, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, was arrested in Srinagar.
Described by the NIA as an &ldquo;active co-conspirator&rdquo; of the suicide bomber, Wani allegedly provided crucial technical support for modifying drones and attempting to build rocket-based explosives.
A political science graduate, he had been intensely radicalised by key accused Dr Umar un Nabi over several months and was being prepared as a suicide bomber.
He admitted to meeting members of the &ldquo;Doctor module&rdquo; in October last year at a mosque in Kulgam, after which he was taken to a rented accommodation near Al Falah University in Haryana&rsquo;s Faridabad.
Prior to Wani&rsquo;s arrest, the NIA had detained another suspect, Amir, also from Jammu and Kashmir, who played a crucial role in procuring the vehicle used by Dr Umar.
With these arrests, investigators were able to piece together how the module attempted to rope in multiple technical experts to execute their plan, analysing digital devices, communication trails, and suspicious procurement patterns to identify collaborators and assess the extent of the drone-weaponisation efforts.
When their rocket and drone attack plans failed, the terror group moved ahead with a car bomb.
On November 10, a Hyundai i20 packed with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) detonated on a busy road near Delhi&rsquo;s Red Fort, killing fourteen people and injuring dozens.
The explosion took place just hours after police seized a massive cache of explosives from Faridabad-based Al Falah University, exposing what investigators have described as a highly coordinated and sophisticated attack plotted by a &ldquo;white-collar terror network.&rdquo;
The suicide bomber who drove the explosive-laden vehicle has been identified as Dr Umar un Nabi, a Kashmiri doctor associated with Al Falah University.
Several doctors and others linked to the module have been arrested, with raids continuing across Kashmir, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi.
The NIA has stated that it is examining all angles and pursuing multiple leads as the investigation widens.

A massive blast rocked the national capital on Monday evening when the same Hyundai i20 car exploded near the Red Fort at 6.52 pm, killing 13 people and injuring several others. The impact of the explosion damaged several nearby vehicles and scattered debris across the road.
Officials said Umar was seen in multiple CCTV clips across Delhi on the day of the incident, including one from the Sunehri Masjid parking lot near the Red Fort, where he arrived at 3.19 pm and left at 6.28 pm, just 24 minutes before the explosion.
Forensic teams have collected over 40 samples from the blast site, including mangled remains of the vehicle and human body parts, while a special team of experts has been constituted to analyse the material and determine the type of explosives used.
Police said efforts are underway to trace Umar&rsquo;s possible handlers and reconstruct his movements throughout the day to determine whether he had any accomplices.

In the wake of the incident, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has formed a &ldquo;dedicated and comprehensive&rdquo; investigation team to probe the blast, which officials believe was carried out by a Jaish-e-Mohammad module uncovered earlier by Indian agencies.
The NIA team, comprising senior officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police and above, will ensure a coordinated and in-depth probe under the supervision of top leadership.
The decision followed the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) formally handing over the case to the NIA, citing a clear terror angle behind the explosion.
Following the transfer, the agency registered a case and launched a detailed investigation to trace those responsible and identify any broader network involved.
Sources said the NIA is working closely with central and state security agencies and examining multiple angles &mdash; including whether the explosion was deliberate or accidental &mdash; as part of its ongoing inquiry.

Officials added that Dr Muzammil and his associate, Dr Umar Nabi, repeatedly surveyed the area to study security deployments and crowd patterns. Their movements were corroborated using mobile-tower location records and CCTV footage from nearby cameras.
Authorities are now analyzing Dr Umar&rsquo;s digital footprints to determine if he was in contact with anyone immediately before the blast. A senior police officer said that all district units and specialised wings have been directed to remain on alert and increase patrolling in crowded areas, especially near tourist spots, malls and religious places. "We are taking no chances. The focus is on maintaining public confidence and ensuring that the city remains secure," the officer said.
Sniffer dogs, metal detectors and anti-sabotage teams are pressed into service at sensitive locations. The police have also asked residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious objects or persons immediately through emergency helplines.

Preliminary findings by police suggest ammonium nitrate, fuel oil, and detonators may have been used in the blast.
A police source said initial findings indicate a possible link between the Delhi blast and the Faridabad terror module, where 360 kg of ammonium nitrate was seized. "Final reports are awaited," the source added.
Police said CCTV footage of the car that exploded shows a "masked man" driving. Multiple teams have been deployed to scan CCTV from the vicinity of the Red Fort and adjoining routes.

Of this, 360 kg of inflammable material suspected to be ammonium nitrate and some arms and ammunition were recovered.
Police sources alleged Umar Mohammad was another doctor in the Faridabad module who had already been arrested. Umar Mohammad, a doctor by profession, was allegedly associated with the Jaish-e-Mohammad terror module.
According to sources, a man named Tariq from Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, who has been arrested, is said to have given the Hyundai i20 car to Umar Mohammad. After his fellow doctors in the module were arrested, Umar Mohammad allegedly carried out the attack fearing he too might be caught, sources added.
Following the blast, security across the national capital has been intensified, with vehicle checking at all border points intensified as well. All vehicles entering Delhi, whether private or commercial, are being thoroughly checked and verified.
"Multiple teams have been deployed to scan CCTV footage from the vicinity of the Red Fort and adjoining routes to know more about the masked man driving the Hyundai i20 car in which the explosion occurred," a police source said. "We also got to know that the vehicle was parked in a nearby parking lot for three hours before the blast. Footage of different parking lots are also being monitored," the source added.
An overnight search operation was conducted at hotels and guest houses in Daryaganj and Paharganj areas to trace possible suspects. Police checked hotel registers, verified entries, and questioned staff to identify anyone matching the suspect's description.
All police stations in the national capital have been asked to stay alert and maintain strict vigil at local markets, metro stations, bus stands, and railway stations. "Teams have been asked to stay alert, attend all emergency-related calls, intensify checking in their area, and report any suspicious activity immediately," said a police officer.
Police have registered an FIR into the matter, and multiple teams from the Special Cell, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), and local police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the explosion. They are also probing whether it could be a case of a "suicide bombing" or a larger terror plot, said the source.
Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha had said the explosion took place around 6.52 pm in a slow-moving Hyundai i20 car at a traffic signal near the Red Fort Metro Station. "There were passengers inside the vehicle. Other vehicles nearby were also affected. Teams from the Delhi Police, FSL, NIA, and NSG inspected the place of occurrence and are taking stock of the situation," he said.
Officers said the blast gutted several vehicles and shattered window panes of nearby cars, buildings, and glass panels of the metro station. According to the Delhi Fire Services, ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and the blaze was brought under control by 7.29 pm.
"All the senior officers are also looking that the blast is related to the Faridabad terror network," another source said. Videos shared by local traders showed the magnitude of the explosion &mdash; mangled bodies, damaged vehicles, and scattered debris near the blast site.
Police said nine people were killed, while 20 others, including two women, were injured and taken to LNJP Hospital. Among the injured, 12 are residents of Delhi, and eight belong to other states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.
The deceased include Ashok Kumar (34) from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, and Amar Kataria (35) from Delhi, while others remain unidentified and are aged between 28 and 58 years. One mutilated body was recovered from the mangled remains of the car, officials said.

All agencies -- Delhi Police, Forensic Science Laboratory, National Investigation Agency (NIA), National Security Guard (NSG) -- have arrived and they are taking stock of the situation," he said.
Shah spoke to the Delhi police chief and the director of the Intelligence Bureau to take stock of the situation. He directed the chiefs of the NSG, NIA and forensic sciences to send expert teams to the blast site to assist the probe and collect evidence.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took stock of the situation and expressed condolences over the deaths.
No terror outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
Police are scanning CCTV footage to determine the route of the vehicle before the blast occurred. They are questioning locals and asking eyewitnesses to share information about any suspicious activity in the lead-up to the incident. Mobile dump data are being gathered, and dossiers of suspected terrorists are being scanned.

A person injured in the incident said the explosion appeared to have originated from a car. Another witness said, "I was at the gurdwara when I heard a loud sound. We were dumbfounded. A number of vehicles were completely damaged."
