The court further said that the leaders present at the event tried to stop mob from bringing down the mosque.&nbsp;The court also stated that the CBI&nbsp;failed to prove the veracity of the audio and visual evidence it placed. It said that the mosque was demolished by anti-social elements and there was no criminal conspiracy behind the demolition.&nbsp;

The Centre has alerted all States to strengthen security arrangements in communally hyper-sensitive and sensitive districts to prevent possible clashes post the judgment in the&nbsp;Babri&nbsp;Masjid demolition case by a&nbsp;special court for CBI cases in Lucknow.&nbsp;In an alert, the Centre said that the judgment could have an impact on the law and order situation, as fringe elements on both sides might&nbsp;communalise&nbsp;the verdict. The Hindu reported that according to the alert, many Muslim&nbsp;organisations, unhappy with the&nbsp;Supreme Court&rsquo;s verdict on the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit case, were hoping that justice could still be done by convicting the accused in the demolition case.&nbsp;The alert said they&nbsp;might resort to protests if the verdict was not what they were hoping for.&nbsp;

Charges were framed against 48 people, but 17 have died during the course of trial.&nbsp;The trial under the serious criminal conspiracy charges commenced against the&nbsp;accused&nbsp;after having been dropped by the trial court in 2001. The verdict was upheld by the Allahabad High Court in 2010, but the apex court ordered restoration of the conspiracy charge against them on April 19, 2017.&nbsp;The top court ordered daily hearing in the high-profile case and directed the special judge to conclude it in two years.&nbsp;
