The Indo-South African pair defeated the Dutch-Austrian combo of Robine Hasse and Philipp Oswald 6-3 6-4 in the final of the grass court event, the last in the build up to the Wimbledon Championships.
The 30-year-old Indian finished the match with a forehand winner between the two opposition players across the court and raised his arms in celebration.
"It's incredible to win the tournament on grass. Winning without dropping even one set on grass is unheard of in doubles. It obviously helps playing with a partner who was performing exceptionally well in singles," Bhambri told PTI.
"We played to our potential and came through. We took it one match at a time and got the result. Hopefully many more (titles) to come," he added.
Bhambri, who is ranked 75, will move up to career-best 58 after this win as he presented himself an early birthday present. He will turn 31 on Tuesday.
His singles career marred by injuries, Bhambri had decided to switch to doubles on the Tour to prolong his tennis career.
He mostly played with compatriot Saketh Myneni. They won two Challenger titles this season -- in Nonthaburi and Girona.
They did not play this tournament together because Myneni wanted to take a break, according to Bhambri, who added that he will play the Wimbledon Championships with his Indian partner.

German tennis ace Alexander Zverev will not face any disciplinary action after an investigation into allegations of domestic abuse found "insufficient evidence" against him.



The ATP had commissioned the investigation in October 2021 after Zverev's former girlfriend, Olya Sharypova, accused the 2020 U.S. Open runner-up of abuse.

The ATP had commissioned the investigation in October 2021 after Zverev's former girlfriend, Olya Sharypova, accused the 2020 U.S. Open runner-up of abuse.
"Based on a lack of reliable evidence and eyewitness reports, in addition to conflicting statements by Sharypova, Zverev and other interviewees, the investigation was unable to substantiate the allegations of abuse, or determine that violations of ATP&rsquo;s On-Site Offenses or Player Major Offenses rules took place," the ATP said in a statement.
The 25-year-old Zverev, who won the singles gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, has always denied the accusations. He is currently ranked 14th.
Although no disciplinary action will be taken, the ATP said it would reevaluate the determination "should new evidence come to light, or should any legal proceedings reveal violations of ATP rules."

Djokovic, who was deported from Australia earlier this year, was initially banned from entering the country for a period of 3 years, till 2025.

Former World No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who was deported from Australia in January, confirmed his 3-year visa ban has been overturned.
Djokovic's unvaccinated status saw his visa being revoked earlier this year after he failed to provide sufficient documents to back his reasons for his non-vaccination. His deportation meant he wasn't allowed to enter Australia till 2025.
But the 21-time Grand Slam Champion confirmed that his 3-year ban had been lifted by the Australian authorities, paving way for his participation at the year-opening Grand Slam in 2023.
