On the occasion of Children's Day, Google has updated its doodle and the special thing about it is that it&rsquo;s an artwork by Kolkata student, Shlok Mukherjee, titled 'India on the centre stage'.&nbsp;
Google organises an artwork competition for school children every year and the winner&rsquo;s artwork is showcased on Google&rsquo;s homepage on Children's Day. This year the topic of the competition was 'how India will look like in the next 25 years' and 1,15,000 children from first to tenth grades, participated from all across India. Shlok Mukherjee's painting was declared the winner among them and has been made as doodle for Google&rsquo;s home page.&nbsp;
Shlok's painting shows that in the next 25 years, scientists in India will make eco-friendly robots. India will make many trips to space and the nation will excel in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda.&nbsp;

An artist from Delhi, who goes by the name of&nbsp;plasticvalla&nbsp;on Instagram, is&nbsp;raising awareness about plastic pollution, one artwork at a time.&nbsp;And &lsquo;plasticvalla&rsquo;&nbsp;Manveer Singh&rsquo;s latest art installation is no different.
Singh has constructed a&nbsp;15-feet&nbsp;Olive Ridley Sea&nbsp;turtle artwork on Odisha&rsquo;s Rushikulya Beach.

The installation has been created as part of his residency&nbsp;for the METIS initiative on Plastics and Indo-Pacific Ocean 2021.
Singh who said he has used 50 kgs of MLP (or non-recyclable) plastic for this installation has been turning plastic into art&nbsp;since 2018.
He started out with the intention to spread awareness about the Ghazipur landfill mountain and has reportedly turned 250 kgs of MLP into artworks that have been placed in museums, art galleries, events and more.
