Kolkata student becomes this year's Google Doodle winner

On the occasion of Children's Day, Google has updated its doodle and the special thing about it is that it’s an artwork by Kolkata student, Shlok Mukherjee, titled 'India on the centre stage'.

Google organises an artwork competition for school children every year and the winner’s artwork is showcased on Google’s homepage on Children's Day. This year the topic of the competition was 'how India will look like in the next 25 years' and 1,15,000 children from first to tenth grades, participated from all across India. Shlok Mukherjee's painting was declared the winner among them and has been made as doodle for Google’s home page.

Shlok's painting shows that in the next 25 years, scientists in India will make eco-friendly robots. India will make many trips to space and the nation will excel in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda.
