In a conversation with the cast of&nbsp;'Aranyank', Raveena&nbsp;opened up about what drew to her to the supernatural thriller.&nbsp;
Speaking on her role of Kasturi&nbsp;Dogra, Raveena&nbsp;said, women will identify with the character's struggles, as Kasturi&nbsp;Dogra holds her own in a world ruled by men and is strong&nbsp;in the face of all odds.
Showrunner&nbsp;Rohan Sippy said, the idea for&nbsp;'Araynak' was conceived after a trip to Himachal&nbsp;by writer Charu Dutt. He added that the emotional arc of Kasturi Dogra's character brings show to life, and he's really excited about their labour of love.
Known for playing the 'bad guy', actor&nbsp;Ashutosh Rana&nbsp;got candid on what scares him the most. Rana&nbsp;said, he is scared of himself, as he has many conflicts within him.
Raveena&nbsp;also revealed how 'Aranyak' connects her Bollywood debut film 'Patthar ke Phool'. Raveena&nbsp;said, 30 years ago, she made her film debut with&nbsp;Sippy films &amp; she's glad&nbsp;to start her 2nd innings with Sippy films as well. She joked, saying, she hoped&nbsp;that fans will tolerate me for 30 more years.
But the shoot for&nbsp;'Arayaak' was not an easy one. The series was shot with Covid&nbsp;guidelines in place and the snow in Himachal&nbsp;made things difficult for the cast and crew. Makers say the show's climax was shot in&nbsp;knee-deep snow, and the crew&nbsp;faced trouble reaching location, where even breathing was difficult.&nbsp;
Raveena and actor Meghna&nbsp;Malik&nbsp;also spoke about how OTT&nbsp;platforms and content being created for them , are opening up for avenues for women actors, beyond the typical roles.

Set in a forest, the story of &lsquo;Aranyak&rsquo; is a dark and gritty tale in the midst of an eerie jungle and a mysterious town. Political ploys, personal agendas surface as two mismatched hill station cops navigate a web of suspects after a puzzling murder.
The show also features Parambrata Chatterjee, Ashutosh Rana, Meghna Malik, Zakir Hussain and Indraneil Sengupta.&nbsp;The show starts streaming on Netflix from Deceber 10.

Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon is all set for her digital debut with Netflix series 'Aranyak', and the show starts streaming from December 10.
In a social media post, Netflix announced the release date. The tweet read,  "Lights, camera, action. @TandonRaveena is back with a bang, in these serene hills which have a secret to hide."

'Aranyak' is a crime thriller that narrates a dark and gritty tale, after a foreign teenage tourist disappears in a misty town. Kasturi Dogra, a local cop, played by Raveena joins hands with her city-bred counterpart, played by Parambrata Chatterjee, on the big-ticket case. The hunt for the girl digs up skeletons and revives a forgotten myth of a bloodthirsty, serial killing entity in the forest.

Produced by Roy Kapur Films and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment, 'Aranyak' is helmed by Rohan Sippy.

Over 30 titles are in the pipeline. Richie Mehta&rsquo;s 'Delhi Crime' Season 2, 'Jamtara 2', 'Kota Factory 2', 'Ye Kaali Kaali Aankhein', 'Mismatched' season 2, 'Little Things' season 3 and many others have been announced.
The release of acclaimed festival winner 'Bombay Rose', Kapil Sharma&rsquo;s much-awaited web show and Sanya Malhotra&rsquo;s quirky movie about a young widow 'Pagglait' have also been announced.
