One such revelation made by actor Anushka Sharma is that Aditya wanted to keep her debut strictly under wraps and asked her to not even inform her parents.
While sharing her experience of making her debut with a YRF film she said, 'Everything was under wraps. Nobody knew about it and Adi didn't want anybody to know that I was the lead actor. Adi literally said to me, 'you can't tell anybody. You cannot even tell your parents.' I said, 'Huh?'
Anushka was launched by Yash Raj Films with 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' in 2008. The film featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role and was helmed by Aditya Chopra. The trailer gives us a glimpse into three generations of actors who have worked and flourished in their career by working under the YRF banner. Actors Rishi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ranveer Singh are among many who talk about the late filmmaker <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/the-romantics-netflix-announces-docu-series-to-celebrate-filmmaker-yash-chopra-s-legacy-1675164817135">Yash Chopra</a> and his son Aditiya Chopra.

The ticket prices for Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer &lsquo;Pathaan&rsquo; are likely to get cheaper by almost 25%. &nbsp;The makers want to &lsquo;maintain the momentum&rsquo; as it will help attract more audience to the theatres.
Calling it a strategic move, trade analyst Atul Mohan told Mid-Day, &lsquo;The [lower prices] will attract more audiences, including housewives and college students. Those who watched it earlier, can now watch it twice or thrice. This move will help in getting more footfall. If Pathaan earns Rs 20-25 crore per day, now on, it can earn Rs 400 crore by this weekend, and may well become the first Hindi movie to collect Rs 500 crore [in domestic market].&rsquo;
He added that the 7 am and midnight shows too have been dropped as it will create more demand, and give some breathing space to the exhibitors.

&lsquo;Depending on the area, it ranges from 10 to 30 per cent,&rsquo; he said. Jaipur-based exhibitor Abhimanyu Bansal says the move will combat the low footfall that is witnessed on weekdays. He said, &lsquo;Over the weekend, the prices may be slightly raised again. Aditya Chopra has been successful in bringing the audiences back to the theatres.&rsquo;
During a media and fan meeting in Mumbai on Monday, <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/times-when-shah-rukh-khan-and-salman-khan-worked-together-1674958912573">Shah Rukh Khan</a> admitted that he was nervous about returning back to the big screen and facing the camera. He stated that to create an empire like Yash Raj Films is not an easy task, however, it’s easy for people to pass comments. He added that Anurag Kashyap is ‘not the ultimate authority on human behaviour’.
Earlier this month, Anurag in an interview with Galatta Plus, talked about Yash Raj Films’ repeated failures and said that Aditya Chopra is not empowering his filmmakers, but dictating them. He added that he’s exercising control over everything.
‘Sit in your office, hire good people if you trust them, and let them make their film. Which is the mistake he makes. He doesn’t let them (be),’ Anurag told Galatta Plus.

The makers of the Akshay Kumar starrer &lsquo;Prithviraj&rsquo; are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film is a box office success.&nbsp;Since the film dates back to the twelfth century, Aditya Chopra went onto recreate Delhi, Ajmer and Kannauj to match the narrative of the film. Directed by&nbsp;Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film is&nbsp;based on the life and valour of the fearless and mighty King Prithviraj Chauhan.
As per the report, in order to recreate the 12th century Delhi, Ajmer and Kannauj from scratch, Aditya Chopra had allocated over ₹25 crores as set design budget!
Speaking about this, Akshay Kumar said, &ldquo;It was quite a task to make this film into a visual delight for audiences because we wanted to promise a big screen entertainer for everyone. Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan was chosen as the ruler of India and Delhi became his political capital. So, it was important that we recreated 12th century Delhi, Ajmer and Kannauj, cities that are linked to his reign and life authentically for people to see how magnificent the city really looked during that time.&rdquo;
The film&rsquo;s director Chandraprakash Dwivedi added, &ldquo;Aditya Chopra took on the Herculean task to recreate Delhi, Ajmer and Kannauj and I have to congratulate the entire set-design team for being able to pull off the unthinkable. Real marble was used to build the city, 900 workers toiled hard for about eight months to build this gigantic set that was a marvel for our eyes. Every element of the city, including Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan&rsquo;s palace was built from scratch. I think Aditya Chopra must have spent crores and crores of money just to get the city built to perfection. So, if people are loving what they are seeing in the trailer, they will have to wait and watch the film to see the grandeur of our sets in its full glory!&rdquo;
'Prithviraj'&nbsp;also stars former Miss World&nbsp;Manushi Chhillar, who makes her debut in Bollywood with this film. She will be seen playing the role of Prithviraj&rsquo;s beloved Sanyogita.
The film will be releasing on June 3 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

As the film clocks 26 years, filmmaker Aditya Chopra announced on social media, that the feature film will soon be adapted into a Broadway musical.
The musical produced by Yash Raj Films, titled, 'Come Fall in Love - The DDLJ Musical' is set to be on stage in the Broadway season of 2022-2023, with a world premiere at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego in September 2022.

Aditya Chopra has been working on the passion project for the past three years and has roped in a stellar, extremely diverse team, comprising some of the best talents of Broadway and India for the same. 
The musical will feature book and lyrics by Laurence Oliver Award-winner Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde, Mean Girls), Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani will serve as composers. Tony and Emmy winner Rob Ashford (Frozen, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Boys from Syracuse) will choreograph with associate choreographer Shruti Merchant. The design team will also include set design by Emmy and Tony Award winner Derek McLane (Moulin Rouge!, Hairspray Live!, 33 Variations) and music supervision by Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award-winning Bill Sherman (In The Heights, Sesame Street, Hamilton). Adam Zotovich is the Executive Producer for the project. 
A global casting search begins shortly headed by Duncan Stewart of Stewart/Whitley casting and Yash Raj Films casting head Shanoo Sharma.
