While the new Nothing Ear is the brand's most expensive pair of earbuds yet, the Nothing Ear (a) introduces a fresh design aesthetic.

Nothing, the London-based tech startup, has unveiled its next generation of TWS earbuds, the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) TWS Bluetooth earbuds in the Indian market.

These new earbuds promise Nothing's signature transparent design and an exceptional audio experience.

Transparent design

Both models embody Nothing's signature transparent design, offering a glimpse into the intricate inner workings of your earbuds. The Ear features angled in-ear style ear tips, while the Ear (a) boasts a more compact frame with soft edges.

Audio experience

The Ear packs an 11mm custom driver and a ceramic diaphragm for rich, detailed sound across the entire spectrum and crisp high notes.

It supports high-resolution Bluetooth streaming with LHDC 5.0 and LDAC codecs, along with Hi-Res Audio certification.

The Ear (a) features 12.1mm dynamic drivers, delivering 2.5 times more transient power. It also holds Hi-Res Audio certification and enables high-resolution audio streaming via Bluetooth.

ANC

Both models incorporate Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of up to 45dB, powered by a smart ANC algorithm, ensuring an undisturbed listening experience.

Battery life

The Ear provides a combined playback time of up to 40.5 hours with the charging case, while the earbuds themselves offer 8.5 hours of playtime.

The Ear (a) delivers a combined playback time of up to 42.5 hours with the charging case. The earbuds have a 46mAh battery and support 10 hours of playback (with the case and ANC off) from a 10-minute charge.

Nothing Ear, Nothing Ear (a) price and availability

Nothing Ear and Ear (a) are now available in India, priced at ₹11,999 and ₹7,999, respectively.

The first sale is scheduled for April 22, and pre-orders are open now.

Nothing Ear comes in two colours: Black and White.

Nothing Ear (a) is available in three colours: Black, White, and a new Yellow variant.
