Samsung Startup Summit showcases next-gen tech and responsible innovation

Samsung R&D Noida’s Startup Summit 2025 shone the spotlight on India’s most exciting AI, healthcare, and XR startups, exploring ethical innovation and global scaling.

Samsung Startup Summit showcases next-gen tech and responsible innovation

Samsung R&D Institute, Noida (SRI-Noida), recently hosted the third edition of its Startup Summit in Gurugram, bringing together some of India’s most promising startups to explore cutting-edge innovation and potential global partnerships. The event showcased a range of emerging technologies across artificial intelligence, healthcare, language models, deepfake detection, and extended reality (XR).

A total of eight startups—Sarvam AI, Jivi AI, HealthifyMe, ValidSoft, KOGO AI, NeoDocs, EnableX, and Magnimus—were selected to present their solutions and engage in strategic discussions with Samsung’s global R&D teams, business units, and Samsung Ventures. The summit aimed to identify high-potential collaborations while aligning with Samsung’s broader vision of building a future-ready, innovation-led ecosystem in India.

Key themes: Ethical AI, digital trust, and scalable solutions

The discussions throughout the summit focused heavily on the role of ethical AI and digital trust in shaping next-generation technology. With increased dependence on AI across sectors, the need for transparent, responsible innovation was a key area of emphasis.

A panel featuring startup founders and SRI-Noida leadership explored the rise of AI agents, the importance of personalised engagement in digital health, and the need for strong data governance practices. The conversation also highlighted how ethical deployment of AI will be critical to building trust and driving user adoption, particularly in healthcare and sensitive data environments.

Startups tackling real-world challenges

Each of the participating startups brought a unique approach to solving real-world problems. Sarvam AI is building a multilingual audio large language model (LLM), while Jivi AI combines LLMs with healthcare services. HealthifyMe demonstrated its AI-powered nutrition platform, and ValidSoft presented an advanced audio deepfake detection solution.

Other notable innovations included NeoDocs’ mobile-based diagnostics, EnableX’s facial expression tracking for user interaction, KOGO AI’s voice-enabled action models, and Magnimus’ gamified XR fitness platform. These technologies are being positioned not just for local relevance but also for global scalability.

Strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem

The summit reaffirmed Samsung’s commitment to supporting India’s growing startup landscape through collaborative innovation, upskilling, and deep ecosystem engagement. By facilitating connections between emerging companies and Samsung’s global teams, the event underscored SRI-Noida’s role as a catalyst for scalable, responsible, and impactful technology development in the region.
