OnePlus 10R tipped to launch with Dimensity 9000 chipset: report

The OnePlus 10 Pro flagship smartphone has been launched by the company in China. However, OnePlus has not discussed any details of other phones in the OnePlus 10 series.

A report from Android Central, however, states that the OnePlus 10R smartphone is all set to launch in India and China in Q2 2022.

OnePlus 10R specifications

The OnePlus 10R has been reported to sport a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, along with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone may also offer an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus 10R availability

As noted earlier, the smartphone is expected to launch in the 2nd quarter of 2022. The OnePlus 10R will reportedly not launch in western markets, but will only be available in Asian markets like the OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9RT.

OnePlus 10 won’t get Dimensity 9000

The OnePlus 10, which is expected to be the base model of the OnePlus 10 series in western markets, will not feature the Dimensity 9000 chipset, according to the report. Instead, the smartphone is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
