Lava International has launched two new smartwatch models, the Lava ProWatch ZN and the Lava ProWatch VN. These devices mark the company's entry into the smartwatch market.

Lava ProWatch ZN Specifications

The Lava ProWatch ZN is designed with a circular watch dial and a rotating crown. It features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466x466. The smartwatch is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection and a PPG sensor for continuous heart rate monitoring. The device supports over 110 sports modes and offers 150 watch faces. It includes smart notifications and supports fast charging.

The body of the watch is made from a zinc alloy, which provides corrosion resistance. The Lava ProWatch ZN comes in two color variants: Valyrian Grey and Dragonglass Black.

It is available with both metal and silicone straps, the latter offering flexibility and durability. The smartwatch also features a long battery life, capable of lasting up to 7 days on a single charge. It includes BT calling capabilities and is rated IP68 for water resistance.

Lava ProWatch VN Specifications

The Lava ProWatch VN features a 1.96-inch TFT 2.5D Curved display with a resolution of 320x386 and a brightness of 500 nits. The model is available in Delft Blue, Moore Black, and Gull Grey. This version also supports BT calling and includes a convenient scroll button for easy navigation.

The Lava ProWatch VN offers over 115 sports modes and more than 150 watch faces. It is equipped with a heart rate sensor, SPO2 tracker, stress level tracker, and a sleep tracker for comprehensive health monitoring. The smartwatch is IP67 rated, ensuring it is resistant to water and dust. It is powered by a Realtek chipset, which supports efficient multitasking.

Lava ProWatch VN, ZN Pricing and Availability

The Lava ProWatch VN currently has an MRP of Rs 3,999 while the Lava ProWatch ZN has a starting price of Rs 4,999 for the model with silicon straps. The Lava ProWatch ZN with metal straps has an MRP of Rs 5,999.

These smartwatches will soon be available at a special launch price. The Lava ProWatch VN has a special launch price of Rs 1,999 while the ProWatch ZNs will soon be available for Rs 2,599 and Rs 2,999 for the silicon strap and metal strap variants respectively.

Both models will be available for purchase starting April 26 at 12 PM on Amazon, the Lava E-store, and through Lava's retail network.

Both the ZN and VN models come with a 2-year warranty, available from over 700 Lava service centers.

Lava ProWatch series Software

In terms of software, both models integrate with Lava's proprietary mobile application, ProSpot, which is designed for secure and user-friendly interaction with Android devices.

Data Privacy and User Experience

According to Sunil Raina, Managing Director of Lava International, the new ProWatch series addresses concerns such as data errors and privacy issues prevalent in other products on the market. Raina emphasized that Lava aims to offer technology that goes beyond functionality, ensuring a reliable user experience for customers.
